I dunno who hat that "glorious" idea to have a very restricted space for entering the combat arena after spawn. This incites to spawn camping by the opposing team. Either you have minimum to different locations to enter the spawn point that would force the other team to spread or to walk between these or stretch the zone to achieve the same result.

    Dear forum mods, I am not bashing. I am trying to offer constructive criticism to help improve the game.

    I feel like ZOS develops PVP in a vacuum without truly analyzing what makes games like CS, TF, Battlefield, etc popular for decades with constantly revamping gameplay.

    Instead, they've been trying to make PVP attractive to people who aren't really interested in PVP because that's most of their playerbase.

    But this doesn't result in a good PVP game, despite the INCREDIBLE potential ESO has to become one.

    In terms of level design, I would say they need to heavily analyze games that have successfully implement classic game modes like CTF, Capture and Hold, etc...

    I'd love proper TF-style bases in a large CTF map or Battlefield capture and hold. Spread us out! 8v8 has basically resulted in impromptu ball groups which seems antithetical to what BG was supposed to be.

    Furthermore, streamline the maps so we don't get stuck in decorative props via knockbacks and pulls.
