The point of this discussion was to help give the developers some insight into what types of games their player base have enjoyed the most so as that it might help the developers make content we would like to have added to Eso.

it would only work if you asked people to remark what features about said games you liked
most of the games being suggested are so far out of scope of what eso is/does that theres virtually no way any feature they have could be included in eso
like what feature in god of war series would ever be included in eso?

There are many things the devs can look at from other games that's we've enjoyed. Everything from story telling, to content chemistry. One of the most overlooked qualities of a game is fun factor. Games don't always have to be 10/10 on graphics and sound as long as it is fun to play. Adding a bunch of content that is boring to play or feels like a job you must go do, loses the core element of what it is. It's a game. It should be fun to play.

Have you ever played GOW3? That game is a masterpiece. The character development is superb. The fighting mechanics is outstanding. The storyline is epic. It is so immersive and feels like an acton movie from the beginning to the end. The passion of the characters / actors keeps you on the edge of your seat. I'd love to see more of that added to Eso.
One of my favorite moments from Eso is when Abnur Tharn was fighting Kaalgrontiid. THAT WAS EPIC!!! I had chills watching that. We need more of this type of content in Eso.

to address your first comment, thats like literally the baseline definition of what any game should be but not really going into much detail
obviously the story has to matter and theres already been many threads in the forums about story quality in ESO
to address your 2nd comment, ive never played any god of war game lol, however saying story and character development being good is a feature that could be thought of that might improve eso, theres no way that fighting mechanics from god of war would fit in eso (not only because they are different style of game, but also built on different engines and whatnot)
everything else being mentioned would again fall under story and character development, which as noted some believe eso has been lacking in this department between chapters

I gave an example of Abnur Tharn vs Kaalgrontiid. I think more immersive, EPIC cutscenes like this would help greatly in telling the story of Eso. Many games do this and are very memorable and loved decades after they were created. All of the games I listed in my top 5 non Eso games have this in common. The right blend at the right time makes a game feel more than just a game. There are many other features that made those games great as well.
