[Crafting] Requested Update - lore based

In some books, it mentions Bowstaves used for melee combat. I would love to see those in game. 2 handed weapon. Probably a unique skill tree.
To expand weaponry that could be used in said tree, probably a polearm tree or something, mix these two things:
At woodworking, create a normal no trait bowstaff, and at blacksmithing create the head (under a new section similar to furnishing used for making weapon parts that are levelled akin to actual weapons), then use artisian's table/bench (new station) to combine the two pieces of matching level, and a trait item, into a weapon. Set weaponry will use a non-set bowstaff, set bowstaff cannot be used as material.
This way, you could add more weapons of a similar type, other than only bowstaff.
Bowstaff, Spear, Glaive, Halberd. That should probably do it.
Using current stuff, bowstaff would be mace class, spear = dagger class, glaive = sword class, and halberd = axe class.
Maybe some unique animations for light and heavy attacks, particularly for spear.

Would you like me to theorize skills? I can. {I'm probably going to mix traits from dual and two handed in the process} {Might even use other games as references for animation potentials.}

Or, could you explain why they aren't in game yet? Particularly the bowstaff which is mentioned in in-game lorebooks?

Never heard of a bowstaff, are you mistaking it for a Bo staff? That is an actual weapon, and is basically just a staff used in martial combat, completely made of wood.
