three proc sets hitting at once

I am pretty sure ZOS tried to make it so 2 proc sets cannot hit at once.

However, a NB wearing (believe it or not) Cinders of Anthelmir, tarnished nightmare, and anthelmirs construct somehow hit me with all three procs at once (well within 0.3 seconds which is within one GCD)
Didn't they really try to prevent this?
2 GOs, an overlord and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP

Those sets have a delay and/ or travel time. So technically they aren't proccing at once, they are just lining up.

It’s one thing to have sets just “lining up” when they are inherently random, but you can replicate that explosion each engagement.

While I have no problem with it, I see how some people might find it contradictory after so many set nerfs in the past were justified by that logic.

It may be the old bug is back. I think you can check this on your combat metrics if you change the settings to let it run in PvP.
Alternatively, you can always go onto the PTS and test it on a dummy and see when the skills trigger?

It's very easy to reproduce if you track their cooldowns. Tarnished procs of crit, Construct on heavy, Cinders on any damage. Cloak and heavy attack to stun, proc all 3 effects and the stun from stealth should give enough time for Cinders to explode.

Another reason to use Radiant Magelight all the time as the combo will partially fail if you don't get stunned.

I‘m not definding this replicable uplinging. I‘m just explaining how this is possible under the current half finished ruleset.

Epic-Buttkkr said this is exactly what would happen before it went live. So how can it not be intentional if even the players can predict it????????

Proc sets should be affected by battle spirit and their damage should be decreased by 20% to start.Too much Proc sets enjoyers. Players don't like to be one shot out of nowhere by proc set, that's why they leave pvp before even start to learn how to survive or build 50k HP warden

You could have just explained things and not been rude, or you know, just said nothing? If there was ever a sign to leave your guild....

Proc sets hitting like a truck is just a byproduct of the ever so increasing power-/statcreep the game has been receiving patch after patch (since most dmg procs scale of your offensive stats). We're in more of a stat meta than the game has ever seen before, not a proc set meta (at least if you compare to patches like One Tamriel, Greymoor, Markarth). A much healthier solution is to actually adress stat density across the board (starting with max HP and sustain being way to easy to achieve good values off without any real downside. And also revert the free 1k weapon/spell dmg we got when they reworked the CP system few years ago).

Seriously, while I do think it's a bit ridiculous to see people running multiple proc sets like the OP experienced.... I'd say we're too powerful in general. It's crazy how fast I can get through a chapter not just because they are tiny for a so called triple A title MMO, but because I can also basically oneshot enemies and run through it all with little thought or risk. And sustain....? Sustain is just a joke at this point. I swear, this is the only game I avoid a fight with another player because I know neither of us are going to die in a timely manner.

You’ll learn overtime how to counter. You can try blocking, building more into HP or resist even. Use damage mitigation sources where you can get them for low cost, also shielding if possible which is the absolute biggest counter to burst combos.

I didn't die to this combo. I was simply annoyed since ZOS , as I recall, explicitly tried to dial back proc sets hitting at once by introducing delays. It seems you can still make them hit all at once.

I reviewed the combo in Combat metrics.
It was something like: Heavy from stealth, Incap, (several status effects), (one of these critted) then Cinders of Anthelmir, tarnished nightmare, and anthelmirs construct essentially all hit at once.
Antelmirs construct is delayed from the heavy attack, tarnished procced off the crit.

It is stupid game play to have these players crutching on procs, especially ranged no risk sorcs and NB. ZOS supposedly has tried to address this but clearly has failed

They are effected by battle spirit....

Battle Spirit makes it so YOU take 50% less damage from other players regardless of source.
