Scripting questions I can't find anywhere

I look at my skills and it shows skill with a box next to them and it says I need to do a quest of a certain name but I can't find out how to do that quest and where to get it.

Are these quests in the new zone or from other zones. Anyone know anything about this?


I can't find anywhere that players are talking about this and this is not talked about on the script pages if websites saying they have a complete info.

It's bad enough that I can't get some scripting pages without doing group activities. I am a solo player for my own reasons so may never get them. Buying these script pages is just to expensive for me.

These are skill styles, not scribing. Basically things like making your wall of elements purple.

Look up skill style guides, not scribing guides, and you should be able to find what you're looking for.

That box indicates that you can change the color/ style of that skill once you have acquired the corresponding Skill Style. You can find more information about Skill Styles on the UESP. That page also mentions how you can learn each style. Some will require doing group activities, though.
