Vibrant Shroud isn't applying Major Maim to Taleria in DSRHM (??)

log is debuffs from source page in a fight where there were 51 casts of vibrant shroud... the major maim debuff was only applied twice, both times to a behemoth, never to Taleria

I think Taleria isn't registering as a valid target for Vibrant Shroud, his casts for the fight show about half hitting himself and half being on the environment.

Only Major Maim applied in the fight was when I missed a behemoth w/ a frost clench:
