Yeah, it is interesting that they aligned the guild section by geography rather than platform. Makes me wonder if they are anticipating cross-play within geographies. Would make sense, as the megaservers are right there next to each other.

I think crossplay is unlikely to happen, but who knows?

It seems more likely that the choice of which existing forums were consolidated had more to do with how many forums would be removed and how many would be added in their place. Consolidating them by platform would have created only one more category than consolidating them by region, but there's also the issue of how active each of the existing forums were. There was probably less activity for the two console forums than for the PC/Mac forum, so consolidating by region would be fewer categories plus each of those two categories will probably be more active than if they'd been consolidated by platform.

I noticed it first thing when I logged in today.

I am not a fan of them putting ToT in with housing and crafting. It’s the same posts over and over again from the same people. I’ll have to find a way to tune it out.
