Rockstar Energy Drink Outfit Cloudfare Error

Not sure where to ask about this so am posting here.
Saw this offer for an outfit through the purchase of rockstar energy drinks and was mildly interested and upon further reading saw you had to collect tokens?

Decided to click on the link that takes you to mtndewgaming.com to find out more about this but was instantly faced with a Cloudfare - you have been blocked error.

No matter which browser I use, it's the same thing. Even if I don't use the link and type the address into a browser myself, same thing.

What gives?
Is this an error on my side? Or is this happening to other Folk and Folkettes?

Any ideas?
TIA
W'o'a

    Same here.
Guess its just in the US.

Isn't there a EU ruling that such promotional raffles also need to be available without buying the product (for example via online code generator), otherwise it's considered a lottery and certain regulations apply (like disclosing the winning chance)

To avoid trouble for their EU branches they might simply block IPs from the EU.

I'm not participating in this, but this indeed should be mentioned on the ESO website. The article about the promotion was also posted in other languages than English and put as an announcement into the launcher.

For OP I hope that using a VPN might help.

    Not in Germany, at least.

This isn't a raffle, every type of product has a code for a fixed number of points that can be redeemed on the website. There's no random chance involved.

The reason for exclusion is probably just logistical, while they made a deal with rockstar/ mountain dew in the US they did not make a deal with their subsidiaries in other countries, so products in other countries will not have codes.

Geoblocking the site is a pretty strong step vs simply not allowing people outside the country to create an account, though.

Oddly. I was just mildly interested, all I wanted to see was if it required more than one purchase of a can.
Personally I don't partically like Rockstar Energy drinks and if one purchase was needed,
I could stomach that, more than one...
    Not so much.
I merely wanted to see the details and really am not actually that fussed about the costume....

Just found it surprising as nowhere in the original article did it mention only being open to US residents.... Which it should do so.

This would be similar to the Karthwolf Charger Wolf Mount obtained, was it through Doritos? + Rockstar...
Where that mentioned in the article that it was a US only promotion.
Though knowing someone in the US I was able to obtain a code and redeemed and received the mount.... Merely because I could.

Anyway... Just wondered if something was broken.
The link provided in the above post does state it is only open to US Residents.
The article in my Discord server did not.

Does anyone have a picture of what the can looks like? Does it say Elder Scrolls Online on the can?
How many cans do you have to buy?
    I don't drink these things 😔
