Which one are you playing the most?

Despite opposing opinions on this expansion, I had the pleasure of seeing a large influx of new players in BG. I hope it's not just the "new toy" effect.

Which of the two modes do you prefer at the moment?

I've barely been playing BGs since the update dropped and my guess is it is the "new toy" effect, but when I do play it's been solo 8v8 since solo 4v4 is just one team absolutely annihilating the other over and over again.... and whether I'm winning or losing, that has felt like a tremendous waste of my time.

I can confirm that only a couple of 4v4 matches I participated in were undecided until the end; for the most part, they are decided in the first 30 seconds.

In 8v8 (no deathmatch) there are more opportunities to take cover, use a strategy, and maybe win by cunning.

But in 4v4 I definitely have a higher win rate and I feel more that I can make a difference.

8v8 solo totally chaos
4v4 solo, lopsided in most rounds, the Deathmatch is so bad, cause by round setting, it even horrible in lopsided match, rest of other mode is fine, get some fun even as lose side

Neither. I PvP in Cyrodiil.

8v8 solo queue. I'm only there till i get 30 battlemaster tokens, and then it will be a rare thing for me to play a BG.

I'm primarily a Cyro player, which could be why I found the old 3-way BGs more engaging.

Maybe on Monday there are fewer people, but last night on PC EU the waiting times for a BG, both 4v4 and 8v8, were very long. It seems to me that the population has already decreased compared to 4v4v4.

After the initial new phase of the new maps, losing interest. I play less then I did with 4v4v4. I been doing pve, feel dirty. Still going to try to get those 30 bm tokens by farming sigila to one shot healers.
