damage resistance

Recently, I noticed that the player has resistance to damage from different elements (such as fire, frost, etc.). So, I was wondering if the opponents have the same parameters? Let's say fire atronachs are less vulnerable to fire, but more vulnerable to frost? Or is it just peculiar to the player's character? I really don't know. I've been playing this game for 5 years and just now noticed this table in the character.

Not really. I think Skyrim had this differentiation in damage, but not ESO. Would make the game a lot more interesting if they did though...

Also the elemental resistance glyphs don't work, or if they do the mitigation is not what is listed on the tooltip.

I tested the flame glyph against a pyre dk. Flame damage with and without the glyph is exactly the same. I even allowed for a significant cooldown to ensure this resistance glyph wasn't on a cooldown... my testing leads me to believe they just don't work.

elemental resistance still follows the armor cap

if your already at 33k armor, the extra elemental resistance does nothing

for the OP back in the day (pre one tamriel) the enemies in the game did have variable resistances depending on dmg types but that got changed so enemies all had fixed armor values (essentially flat dmg mitigation)

I run at 29k resist backbar.

Well, that's sad. The game would be more interesting if it worked like this...
