Shield healing in BGs

Heya dev team, this has been a problem for months where “shield healing” doesn't give players AP even though they contribute so much to the fight. Especially in battlegrounds, people who cast shields for their groups and heal that way (especially arcanist chakrams) don't get the credit they deserve for it. I've been sitting at the bottom of the scoreboards for months, especially in deathmatches where the other team's healers are at the top because of their raw healing, while I cast chakram over chakram and other shields that heal my group and get no credit for it. Can you guys please make it count towards your AP, because it's also annoying when it comes to the “MMR grind”. I've been doing BGs for hours now and am literally being overtaken by all the other healers who only raw heal after 2-3 matches. That doesn't seem fair at all ...
