They could also give one Alliance Token for free every Whitestrake's Mayhem, often times I want to group up with my friends to either PvP or help them get their tickets and we can't because their characters are on distinct factions.

Any Race, Any Alliance, never should have been a thing, and Imperial should have been the one universal race you could play as, with a much wider spectrum of customization to better represent the race as your standard “Human” choice.
The “any race, any alliance” pack should be removed from the Crown Store.
Choosing an alliance should happen within the game world (such as choosing to join the Undaunted), after completing the creation of a new character.
The player could choose to do a series of quests to join an alliance in the world.
When the player is creating a new character, there should be no alliance race restrictions.
The player should be able to create any character without the restriction of alliances and without needing to purchase the "any race any alliance" package.
The imperial race should be part of the base races that new players can use to create a new character.
New races could be sold in the Crown Store for crowns so players can create new characters.
For example.
The Maormer race, different types of Khajiites, different types of Argonians, sloads, snow elves, etc.
ZOS could make a lot more money selling new races to players than keeping the "any race any alliance" pack in the Crown Store.

^^^^ I still remember this being brought up a lot. The fact it’s not free 10 years later is pretty shocking.
