Switch all type of blind eyes from "Facial hair" to "Head Markings"

Hello !

I come today with an "issue" that make absolutly no sense as of today. Since they came out, the blind eyes (Oracle eyes too)6k116g965avc.png
have been located in the "Facial Hair" category in the collection. The problem with that is we get a lot of new type of eyes in some crown crates that are located in "Head Markings".
So with the blind eyes being in that category, we can't use them and use a beard at the same time...

I'd rather they had their own category but agree that all "eye" cosmetics should at least be in the same category, not over two.

I would not want them in head markings because then you can't use them with face tattoos, or lashes. Eyes really need to be their own category.

Would also love if they'd split make-up from scars/tattoos as well. (Even better would be to have categories for eye makeup and lipstick but that's probably asking far too much).

I understand that they don't really fit, but please don't change them at this point. I have two characters who use a blind eye and face markings right now since they don't use facial hair.

It should definitely be it's own category, same as horns. Swapping around would help no one there and create more issues.

I agree that ideally eye cosmetics should be their own category, and I think we've got enough now to justify it, but if that's not possible it would at least be helpful to have them all in the same category.
I understand that they don't really fit, but please don't change them at this point. I have two characters who use a blind eye and face markings right now since they don't use facial hair.

I've got the opposite problem: I've got a character who should have a blind eye under his eye patch (and when not wearing it), but can't because it would mean losing his facial hair.

What's really annoying is the facial hair, blind eye and the eye patch all used to be one item. In the character creator you can still only pick 1 adornment, which groups together major adornments, minor adornments and facial hair. If you put an eye patch on a male character it also gives them facial hair, and when I created my character it also gave them a blind eye under the eye patch, which stayed even when certain head wear hid the eye patch. At some point they removed the blind eye, but the facial hair and eye patch still go together in the character creator but can be changed seperately in the collectibles menu.

However that's also why I'm sure they could put them into a seperate category and make it possible to mix and match them with both facial hair and head markings. They did the same thing when the collectibles menu was introduced and all the existging collectibles were divided into different categories, adding the option to combine them in ways the character creator doesn't allow.

I suspect eye effects were thrown in wherever because at the time there was only the blind eyes, and then people making others later on put them in whichever category they thought made sense, but now we've got enough to be it's own grouping.

i just want Facial Hair and Head markings to be more categories instead like:
    - eye colours
    - eyeshadow and lashes
    - facial hair
    - lipstick
    - face tattoos
    - facial scars
    - other makeup

No. People have their characters customized with the current categories. Any changes to categories should NOT change the way people's characters look. So, they can't move to the same category imo.

No, thank you. My vampire character is currently using blind eyes+red lipstick, and having to choose just one would destroy her look.
Like the others have said, eye cosmetics should have their own category.

Would you at least support moving them into their own category, so I can have my character back the way I designed him before ZOS changed how it worked?

Yes. I don't want anything moving categories to existing categories. But I'd support new categories so long as they don't mess with existing looks, only pave the way for new ones.

Considering my character's looks completely rely on being able to use the Oracle Eyes alongside face markings... no thank you.

I would 100% support a new Eyes category though, so everyone can have more customization. Or a brand new "blind eye" cosmetic added to Face Markings. But no moving existing cosmetics into different existing categories.

Right. We don't want another debacle like the outfit one they created a few years back.

In a nutshell... The cranked the "modesty" dial up to 11 on a Redguard outfit and pushed it out to Live. They thought they were fixing it to better match the expected appearance. Players liked the old style better. After that, they instituted a "no change" policy, which is why they won't make a change related to this thread that breaks existing characters. If they keep the policy, that is.

    ah yes that was unfortunate.

i didn't expect your comment to be about that because it was nearly a decade ago, but i hope eventually zos adds a new outfit style that looks like Old Redguard
