Damage done - Brutality and Weapon Damage

Hello,

If I am using Shield Throw with this config:

and Shattering Fate
(5 items) Adds 7918 Offensive Penetration
(10 items) Adds 687 Weapon and Spell Damage
(12 items) Adds 1528 Critical Chance

Is the Shield throw getting 687 damage per bounce? And having a chance to crit?

Weapon and spell damage is a part of a formula (which also includes your highest resource) that is used to calculate the damage of various skills.
It’s not a 1:1 ratio, how much damage you get out of said 687 W/S damage will vary from skill to skill as skills scale differently. It could add more than 687 or it could add less. I’m not sure of the actual scaling coefficiency here.

Brutality will increase your weapon damage by 20%, not your total damage. The actual increase you get out of brutality usually around 10%.

Does the extra 5700 damage over 10 seconds apply to everyone hit or just the first target?

Given that it specifies enemy *singular* i’d assume that it’s for the first target only, but it might very well apply to every enemy hit. That would be super easy to test in game.

It's every enemy hit, one of the many reasons the multi target + dot options for grimoires is pretty good. Same goes for the minor/major named debuff from the affix.
