SO I was thinking about this last night while farming Craglorn for mats and I started wondering... How come the chat spammers for paid carries don't ever use group finder for that kind of thing? Is it against ESO rules?
Wishing for Lilmothiit race still! Or maybe Lilmothiit companion?

Raiders who perform carries aren't just sitting around waiting for someone LOL. It usually takes a bit to schedule depending on the content.

Paying in-game currency for in-game services like carries has been officially stated to be within the rules, as long as it doesn’t involve a violation of ToS. For example, any carries where someone plays for you are not ok. That means Vateshran and Maelstrom are off the table, as well as any strategy in group content where someone else controls your character.

Right when the group finder came out I did notice a few carries being advertised with it. It was almost the only thing I saw listed, actually, the first couple weeks.

I can't speak to why they don't get listed anymore, no clue.

True, but what about all the BRP carry ads? Isn't that just one person?

    BRP is four person content.

Not always. There's also discords expressly for the purpose of selling brp xp carries.

Brp/dsa is different if they're just selling weapons. For that, they bring someone into the group after they've killed the boss but the chests haven't been opened.
Brp for xp is a different thing and it's probably just the first arena.

    BRP is four person content.

They don't clear the whole thing when farming exp, they just reset a certain wave of adds during the first stage of the arena.
I've never bought their services, but they are claiming to be able to fully level your char in 1-2 hours, which might be nice for those who can't play for too long.

The good ones can do it that fast, for sure.

It's not uncommon for individual players who sell trial weapons to join gf pugs they think can be successful. Especially if the trial is already in progress and close to the end.

This was a surprise for me when I was able to play trials. After completing the first first boss, being repeatedly spammed by one or two players for one of the items that I collected. Being offered money was just insulting.
