Unable to preview the new ''Haunted Houseware'' furnishing pack

When I click on the preview button for the new Haunted Houseware furnishing bundle on the store, nothing happens. I've tried it on a couple of characters, both with gamepad and m/k, it's as if the preview function is completely disabled @ZOS_Kevin.

I can see the preview button on gamepad UI but nothing happens when I click it. I can't see it at all on m/k, and yes, it would be nice to be able to check out the items before buying... hopefully they can fix it.

Hi I bought the Haunted Housewares container but couldnt find it via normal inventory filters. Turned off all addons and restarted to make sure. Found it by using the game search filter. (typed Haunted

Thanks for flagging this. We have escalated this to our teams and they are looking to fix this.

For the time being, here is a bigger picture of furnishing for the time being.

And... are the furnishings static or do they move as if haunted?

Hi all, we just pushed a hotfix for the preview feature. We had the wrong preview code and it was a quick swap. You should be able to preview the furnishing pack now.

Just make sure to log out and back in if you encounter issues, assuming you are currently in-game.

The Good:
The animated brooms got me, every wizard home needs one.
I like the floating skull, but could have done without the candle.
Can never have too many fog areas, no complaint here.

The Sad:
The hanged ghost is nice, it being bound to the painting severely limits its use, though.
The bookshelf looks nice, a lot of stuff for one furniture slot, but the opened and haunted settings are just weird.

The Ugly:
The spectral effect on the furniture doesn't really work for me. A solid floating cabinet and a self-setting table with solid dishware would be spooky, but with the ghost effect it looks more like illusions / holograms.

You can sink the painting into another object in order to make more uses for the ghost, for instance sink the painting into a bed and now have what looks like a ghost having nightmares or place the painting in a wall and put a chain or rope where the ghost is to make it look like the ghost is the spirit of someone who was hanged, or you could just sink the painting into the roof and have a ghost on the ceiling.

I do agree with the "ugly" part, the only thing spectral should of been the ghost.

I'll repeat my post here, since the other thread got locked:

Regarding the spectral furniture: You could use it to create a scene that is an "echo of things long gone". It's a classic theme.

For example designing a room full of cobwebs, faded carpets, dust and piles of wooden clutter, then placing the spectral furnishings above those piles, invoking the impression that the latter are the remnants of the former.
Put in ghostly pet(s? I remember the ghost cat) and houseguest(s? we have a ghost and a floating, glowing doll) for flavour.

Only catch is that there probably aren't enough spectral furnishings to paint much of a picture. But I'll leave that to the creativity of the housing community.

I would've preferred if the bookshelf was actually a door. After all, every haunted mansion or castle needs a secret passage!
But otherwise it is a solid furnishing pack, I really like it!
