I have been using this addon for a long time now and am trying to figure out how the addon works to update the input mask to custom companions' trait names. It would be awesome if someone wanted to explain or give it a try themselves. I can provide the mapping table.
Current state of the addon:
the addon is abandoned, in the description the author gave permission to take it over.
What it does:
TraitRename offers opportunity to enter custom trait names for weapon, gear and jewelry traits.
Why work on it?
The addon can ease trait understanding and is fun to use in general, event and RP context. Think of using class- or race-oriented trait names
