You can buy upgrades to your inventory space for gold. Visit the bag vendor in major cities to expand your carrying capacity.

How many more slots do I get for the price the vendor asks? He doesn't say. Neither does the bank merchant. Neither does "Essential ESO Tips."
To buy and sell your goods, join a guild with 50 members or more and check out their guild store while visiting the bank in towns. You can also visit keeps controlled by your alliance in Cyrodiil to see if the guild that owns it has established a public store there.

Are there any options for players who are not yet in a guild, or whose guild is smaller than 50, to sell and buy each other's goods?

A good tip I've found is to wear all the armor you can at low levels as you come across them instead of trying to focus on one style. Especially early on when you might not have armor covering all places throw on whatever you manage to loot because if you're wearing a piece of light, a piece of medium and a piece of heavy armor you'll gain skill in all three lines. You can focus on wearing one type at higher levels when you come across sets or have skill points assigned that make wearing more pieces of one type worth while. This way if you change your mind later on about what type of armor you want to wear you don't have to grind up the skill line from the very beginning.

You get 10 slots per upgrade.

It is not possible to open a guild store with less than 50 members, but you can still see other guilds stores in cyrodill. And trade more directly by pressing "F" on players.

It is not possible to deconstruct or make necklaces at the moment. You can find "base"-necklaces as quest rewards and as loot. You can make and add enchanments on these necklaces.

Though crafting jewellry is something the devs are concidering.

The title of this forum should be 'Answer questions from the ESO developers,' maybe with opinion sharing as an afterthought. I came here thinking I could give some constructive feedback with regards to some problems with the game mechanics I've seen.

(I could use the feedback tool, but I'm not going to muddle with a tiny box where I'll get logged out of the game if I take too long to craft my feedback...that's not worth my time or effort.)

Hello, it will be great if we can distribute the attribute and class skill points to know the exact number of soft capping (min/max) per level to avoid overcharging. Can we have a chart with all the softcap overcharging value?

I sincerely hope we will see some new skills. Fire arrows for bow users, fire spells for mage-types (outside of the FEW that are in the game, most of which are in Templar and DK), and maybe even custom or mixed classes. Ive always played a fire wielding, dual wielding, stealthy Dunmer that had many similar abilities to the Nightblade in ESO, but as I said; had the ability to use fire spells :(

Is there any chance that there will be cross platform character transfers or cross platform accounts? I think this would benefit people greatly. I would have no problem paying for both PC and Xbox One versions of the game, I just think that would be a great incentive for those with friends on both, or even all three platforms.

One additional tip that could be added: Don't try to do all the crafts. Bank space is limited, so focus on one or two.

A good tip would be don't bother repairing armour at low levels.

It hardly has time to get really damaged and is replaced fast. The repair cost is a gold sink which can be avoid mostly when starting out.

I had the habit from WoW to repair often but found it was not necessary at lower levels in ESO.

this is supposed to be a category to leave feedback for the developers? where is that thread then - and why can't I create a new thread? ffs, wtf... - I have a TON of feedback.

    1. bank space - fix it. period
    2. combat - dated for old school forced grouping of 15 years ago - fix it. It's ridiculously difficult. Most of my guildmate report dying is common and often. The combat is shaping up to be the furthest from the ES series and the furthest it can be from fun. Games are supposed to be fun right? not ludicrously twitchy sadistic.

those are my top two complaints. I know it's new and there's a lot of learning to do, etc but how could ANYONE get these two things SO wrong...

Actually a better way and far the easiest way to make money is to collect iron ore, maple and (i've forgotten the need of the weed) refine them and sell to npc. You can have a few thousands for an hours work. Making money has never been easier. Or you can sell them in chat.

I just had to point out a small fact... EsO is not World of warcraft.

If you read about the game, what Elderscrolls is about, you would know that dying HURTS. Items gets worn out and need repairs. Repairs are not supposed to be cheap.

Instead of complaining about repair costs, be happy that you only need to repair if you die. It wouldn't be that far step for EsO to make you be able to get resurrected when you die, but with a cost of loss in experience. Maybe even DELEVEL you.

"Dying" suppose to hurt and you are suppose to do everything in your power to prevent that. If players always had gold enough for everything and repairs was just annoying......then the game would get boring quite fast.

    Hello there,

I wasn't quite sure of the best place to post this so I thought I'd leave it here.
I'm Dave and I'm representing the Guild The Ebonheart Pact and I'm proposing a few ideas on behalf of the guild that we feel may benefit the game and and make a more enjoyable experience as a whole.

    =====================================

Below is a few things in our opinion would help in guild structure and management:

    More guild rank options
This would make it easier to delegate different positions to cover a wide range of aspects in the guild (such as PvP commanding, dungeon organising, trading administration etc). If guild members of a higher standing had their own unique ranks and permissions to organise certain areas it would be easy for the guild to see who they need to get in contact with.

    Guild Tabard
Will add a bit of graphical representation of the guild. People will one to know the guild at a glance (if it is of considerable size).

    Guild information tab
We'd like for there to be just a touch more room in the guild description section, there is ALMOST enough room there to provide a succinct description.

    Guild store
If more selling slots could be unlocked after completing something in the game I feel that would encourage the use of the guild store for players buying and selling.

    Guild rewards and awards
A nice little perk would be having guild rewards available after members gain points for the guild from completing objectives, or have the rewards available for purchase as some sort of game coin-sink (for example 5% increased chance to gain an additional iron ore when mining an iron ore node etc) just to add a little more guild presence in the game.
Customisable awards would be an amazing addition as many players are achievement hunters and seeing a little medal pop up to add to their collection can be very satisfying for some.

    =====================================

Below I have included a few things that would be some interesting changes to the game overall.

Player name and guild floating above player
If there was an option to have these implemented it would give a sense of identity, and to promote positive behaviour if a player is representing their guild.

    Floating chat
Above players when they're talking so when you're in an area having a chat, it feels more like a conversation rather than an impersonal chat over a web server.

    Chat
An option to change chat mouse-scrolling to scroll by line rather than scroll by sentence/post so that spammers with a massive spam post can be easily identified (sometimes if the spam is massive when you scroll up it skips the spammers name altogether).

    Player moderators
Giving a few selected trustworthy players this position to provide them with temporary mutes and priority reporting (and nothing else, should be no in-game advantage whatsoever). These players should be easily identified by using something like a chat symbol to represent that they are available to help anyone with a non-game content related issue. This will also make them easily identifiable so that if they are abusing their position they can be easily dealt with.

    Guild Chat
The option to use character name OR account name. A lot of players like to be identified by the uniqueness of their character name and I know most would prefer this for guild chat.

    Player profile
Accessible in-game, shows things like achievements, map completion %, rank in guild and so forth.

This is all we've (our guild) discussed so far but we're always tossing ideas around and we'd like to hear some community input! So if you disagree with some of these, comment and let is know why, and if you have more ideas that would have a positive impact on the game, feel free to add them as well!

Best of luck to everyone enjoying the game so far,

    - Dave

To be honest and no offence but I had to read that like four times..

More mmo's than wow exist out there my friend. A lot of other games use these things because it's what most players want and most importantly they work.

Of course some will have the guild rewards and some won't - because your guild would have to earn them. Obviously you will chose which guild you want to represent at any given time and you would receive the bonuses from that guild, many mmo's have implemented this and it has worked just fine. You'd just have to be an active and involved enough player to earn a position in guild that is doing well and can provide these bonuses. The bonuses wouldn't be so overpowered that it puts solo players at a severe disadvantage, but it will be just a little something extra nonetheless.

I still don't understand why you're against a guild tabard?

To be honest it doesn't seem that confusing at all and I can explain it in further detail if you'd like to outline the points you're having trouble with?

I'm just trying to compile a list that most players consider positive.

But thanks for your feedback anyway :)
