Templar Wishlist

This wish list of changes to Templar isn't going to cover all of the skills/passives, just the ones that need some love.

is the list perfect? no, I'm no game desinger, and odds are the changes would most likely be on the strong side, but templar needs a bit of a kick in the pants

Puncturing Strikes - Base skill now grants Major Brutality and Sorcery
Biting Jabs - Morph now has full cleave damage.
Puncturing Sweep - now heals for 50% of the damage done.

Focused Charge - Keeps major protection and does not taunt enemies

Sun Shield - Using this skill refunds 75% of it's cost over 4 seconds, this refund is reduced by 15% for every enemy hit past the initial target.
Blazing Shield - Deals 100% of the shields health as damage upon expiring.

Burning Light - Removed 0.5 second cool down on generating stacks, added per target 1 second cool down for detonation.

Solar Flare - Skill now splits the projectile
Reflective Light Sun's Wrath - Causes the target to take an additional X fire damage every Y hits from the caster.

Blacklash - Mark a target for 6 seconds, 50% of damage dealt to the target from any source within those 6 seconds is copied and stored up to a maximum value of X.

Radiant Destruction - Reduced range to 15 meters, reduced execute scaling from 480% to 400%
Radiant Oppression - Increased damage from 400% to 450%

Restoring Aura - Applies minor Endurance, Minor Fortitude and Minor Intellect to you and nearby group members, upon casting applies Minor life steal, minor Magicka steal and Minor Stamina Steal to all enemies within 12 meters for 20 seconds.
Radiant Aura - Increased Range to 28 meters.
Repentenace - Applies minor Endurance, Minor Fortitude and Minor Intellect to you and nearby group members, upon casting consecrates the souls of the nearby dead restores 3000 Health, Magicka and Stamina for each corpse nearby, the restored effects are divided evenly between nearby group members.

Cleansing Ritual
Ritual of retribution - Now Snares enemies within its radius

Rune Focus - Now also restores stamina and magicka
Channeled Focus - Increase the health restored by standing in the circle from 200% to Z%
Restoring Focus - Standing in the rune now increases the amount of stamina and magicka restored by Y%.

Master Ritualist - Increases resurrection speed by 10/20%, resurrected allied return with 50/75% more health, stamina and magicka.

the tl;dr
Made strikes/sweeps/jabs more usable for DPS
Undid the harmful changes made to charge that are currently on the PTS
Made Sun Sheild useable by addressing it's henious cost, thus helping tankplar
Fixed burning light to be almost half as good as it was pre-U35 rather than the lumpy mess it is atm.
Gave Sunfire an actual use outside of "minor sorc proc"
Brought back the good backlash version that was usful.
Toned down the beam, cuz, well, gawd DAMN it's way too strong
Made Restoring Aura functional as a support tool
Made RoR into a tool that helps tankplar.
Changed rune focus from a kinda sustain kinda healy kinda...eh tool, into an actual foundation of the templar's "house"
Updated Master Ritualist to be not outdated to the extreme.

    Id be thrilled with any and all of these skill changes, except sun shield. But thats only because I have no idea what sun shield does anymore, because its been a dead skill outshined by even the light armor shield since I started playing ESO. :D

    Good news is that you do not touch Blazing Spear.

    Bad news is the range nerf to Beam. It's perfect as is for PvE. If PvPers don't like it, that's what battle spirit is supposed to be for, right?

    Jabs remains dead without a serious damage boost, leaving the above two skills as the only templar damage skills worth slotting on my PvE OakenMagPlar.

    I'd be happy if jabs just regained their original animation.
