Could we get an update on why PS server maintenance has been extended, while XBOX is already online? Just very curious (and a bit annoyed as I had a run with my guild planned for 18:00 UTC). A bit of explanation would be appreciated.

Probably the more concerning thing, is that a patch is released with very few minor bug fixes, yet the maintenance has been extended from 6 to 10 hours (during time of usual most EMEA activity).

Is this an indication is the patch stability, overall game stability, or server stability?

I appreciate that there are checks and tests done during the server maintenance, and “something” failed and has to be ‘redone’, but still…good communication is key in customer service!

It’d be nice is a ZOS admin posted a timely post, something like ‘sorry folks, a routine check during the maintenance failed, we’ve got to redo it, so the down time has been extended - we’re getting it done as quickly and best as we can’.

…sometimes, just saying sorry and we’re working on it is enough.

Its been extended because PlayStation is low priority compared to Xbox. Wonderful, eh?

Seriously, are we now the orphan child because we aren't PC or XBox? Will the extended maintenance become a weekly thing until we sucumb to buying a different platform?

And doing this in the middle of an event?

Then people wonder why the population is dropping off with ESO.....

I think this is a nudge to get Playstationers to play ESO on the PC or Xbox and dump the PSx. They want you to dump the Playstation if you want to play any Elder Scrolls game.

And all the times within the last year when xbox had extended maintenance?
They won't ever be dropping Playstation. 🙄

First time in a year that the PS server was extended when the others weren't. Yet XBox and PC have seen exstensions a few times in the past year.

My guess is a monkey dropped a wrench into the hopper by mistake, and it had to be re-done. It happens. No big deal.

Yes, this would be good. I was thinking it might have something to do with the 8hr shutdown of PSN. Another thing I could really use an explanation for...

Negative consequence happens to other side = Didn't notice.
