PSN down. It's not ESO.

Just a fair warning. ESO was the first game I started up tonight so I figured it was ESO but it turns out it's even worse.

Yeah, it’s the typical PSN issue of if you were already logged in, you’re fine (until you log out or get kicked out), but nobody else can log in.

I’m still in game, but the PSN party chat I had with a friend went belly up as our first sign of PSN issues.

ESO hasn't been working for hours. Is there any plan to compensate EU players who could not log on for tickets and a box? I had a quest to turn in but was not able to log on before 10pm est bc of the outage

I think Sony would be the correct people to ask that question to. https://status.playstation.com/

Sony's not the one who can give tickets/box. I just wanna know if PSN users literally unable to log on to ESO will be able to get their tickets/box or not.

Apologies if it came off demanding or rude over text, just a genuine question. 👍

It's already so late for many players. Is there a mechanic being implemented for those who couldn't log in for their daily rewards before PSN went down?

All six ESO servers have been up and running. Playstation is the cause and should also be the source of compensation if any were to be given.

Ofc, Zenimax might be willing to extend the deadline.

PlayStation can't compensate in game items. I don't care about a day of PSN+. (Although I will lose my final day of ESO+) Hence why I am asking on the ESO forums. Bc the ESO servers are inaccessible with the PSN outage. "Up and running" but inaccessible. Physically unable to log on.. I am also fine with requiring 2 quests to turn in for the 2 days of boxes/tickets. Just a way for us to be able to get what we literally could not

Zenimax is not responsible for PS failures.

As I noted, Zenimax could extend the deadline or something similar, as I clearly stated, but they do not have to provide compensation for other companies' issues. If they do then PS players should be very appreciative.

It's just good service for them to do something for their PSN customers when they can't access the services. And asking about compensation isn't the same thing as saying it's required.

I do not think anyone has mentioned the term "required". Well, until now.

Yes, I understand the post was not directed toward me, as I have noted Zenimax could do something out of being a generous company.

Well a few hours is one thing, but this stretches into days, yeah maybe ZOS could see their way to do something.
