I don't have multiple chars that have thieves guild. Nor will I level another char to do this quest.

Yes they are. But I choose not to do this one or any other that is unreasonable.

You cannot. Unless you have multiple alts that have leveled Thieves Guild. The maximum number for this endeavor should be 7.

You can. Like other daily quests someone can share theirs if they have a different one.

There is only 1 daily heist, so max you can do is 7 if you don't skip a day. So, if you don't have an alt with Thieves Guild skill line unlocked to some degree - you can not do it at all...

    2 other options are:
    - IA should not be hard, but again, if you don't have a decent build and level, it may be problematic.
    - You can fix some walls or heal some people in Cyro during sieges....

Not a great selection tbh. :(

Ok, my bad. You can do it, but not on your own (I forgot that sharing quests counts). So you are only "screwed" if you play solo...

It's not my job to go around asking others to share a quest. The endeavor is do 12 heists, not hang around asking people to share another until I find one I haven't done.

It does seem like maybe a memo recently showed up from on high, telling them to increase endeavor requirements.

Of course no one was tasked with actually ensuring that the increases make any sense.

You have 8 character slots from the start so you could have enough characters leveled up to do it on your own. Nobody you can blame for your own choice.

Actually I have 19 char slots, but the AWA discouraged me from doing any one thing like thieves guilds more than once. My main is the one I play the rest are crafting alts.

And yes it's my choice to forego the 240 seals, none of the weeklys are something I will do. I just wondered at assigning an endeavor that cannot be done on one character.

We are going to have to agree to disagree on this.

ZOS has the game data and logs, they know that there are ESO players with one character.

And there is a West Weald event running this week. Good luck finding someone to share a heist quest with you in Hew's Bane if you are on a server with low population, and many of those folks are in West Weald doing the event.

7 heists in one week seems like enough grinding to me for a weekly endeavor.

Again: your choice. It's an MMO that encourages group play. Play as you want but don't expect everything to be able being done solo on a single toon, even if it's something mundane like an Endeavour.

yeah this endeavor is kind of obnoxious. It should definitely be 6 or 7. Good thing I don't have an issue with IA.

And with Endeavours like this they try to change that, whether you like it or not. Of course they want you to play more, longer, on different characters - they want you to spend money. You can chose to be a recluse but that's not what ZOS wants so you really can't expect them to cater to you.

For IA, you can do one cycle a day. That's only the first two stages (which are about as difficult as overland) and the cycle 1 boss (which is a watered-down version of a WB). Most players should be able to do this. The weekly would take 6 days, which is fine.

I did 3 cycle bosses today and will do 3 tomorrow (I never spend much time due to an RSI).

The IA one takes about 30-40 min (at most) even with a basic build purely made from crafted gear. I honestly don´t see the issue this week.

For me, this week I will be doing the Defeat 6 Cycle bosses in the Infinite Archive weekly endeavor instead of the Complete 12 Heists or the Earn 150000 Alliance Points.

I believe that I could do any of the three, but for me the Infinite Archive will take less clock time.

I think a player with one character can do Cycle 1 six times in one day. I don't think Infinite Archive stops you from leaving after the cycle 1 boss, and starting over again.

150k AP is a good hour on a Friday night.

Infinite Archive is doable in 40 minutes in one sitting, and I do it as a one bar RP soul necro, wearing Oblivions Foe and War Maidens.

We have options. If nobody does the 12 heists, they'll know to reduce the requirement.

You're right. Since I can go farther I wasn't thinking about that, but yes. If you only want to do cycle 1, you can do it all in one day. Just leave the run after you defeat the first cycle boss, then go back in (I think there's a way to reset a run but I've never done it) and do cycle 1 again.

Note that the thief guild level requirement has been dropped, you still need to do some quests to unlock it and the quest is nice.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

With regard to the idea about sharing Heists, I’m not sure but I think that the Thieves Guild Heists follow a fixed rotation similar to how the Undaunted Pledges do. If true that could present a problem.

Edit: I think the Heists change twice a day, so aside from the possibility of sharing a quest that someone picked up a previous day but didn’t complete on the day it was picked up, another possibility is to do the first Heist of the day and then try to get someone to share the second Heist of the day with you. However, I don’t know the times when the Heists change in midday.

Thank you all for your comments and advice, even those who criticized. I find I no longer care about this subject. I don't need the seals, I was curious because I has never seen an endeavor that like heists that needed two separate chars to achieve.

I totally agree as I do not need any of these seals anyway but the weekly endeavour should encourage people not discourage people.

12 Heists in 7 days is impossible.
1500000 AP points is doable on a very specific build in very specific circumstances.

I didn't want to spread my weekly endeavor out over the entire week since there is currently an event happening, so I just did the Infinite Archive with a companion. It didn't take long and was easy.

Not really. You can just go to Cyrodiil naked, follow a group that is taking a keep or defending a keep, taking resources, etc., or you can repair walls, fire siege, heal allies, etc.

And regarding IA, same thing, you can go naked and kill only the very first mini boss 6 times.

None of those require builds nor very specific circumstances.

Not only does it not stop you, there is a reset hourglass that makes it easier to reset the instance by yourself. Is there any other instance that even has that? I can't recall any at the top of my head. Anyway, IA actively enables you to reset it at any point you want, on a 5 minute CD.
