I don't know if it is feasible but I really would like to remove the loincloth on some of the styles. At least on the backside.

The over use of loincloths and hip flaps that float off your character needs to change.

The first thing I was thinking when reading the title was "I don't want to see Lord Vivec naked" :D

Yeah. Especially the side/hip things bother me. On skinnier characters the floating is extreme.

That would be great. I have to avoid so many styles because of the crotch flaps.

If ESO is expected to live a long time, then significant changes are worth considering, I think? For this matter, it seems the most elegant solution would be a transition so anything that can hang from or be attached at the waist be removed from chest pieces and placed on belts. Chest would have nothing to do with hip, crotch, butt flappers, pouches, books, scroll cases or anything else that could attached to one's waist. Any and all that stuff would be on a variety of belts. That would allow players to choose a chest style, then select a belt that could add whatever waist mounted accessories the playere might (or might not) want.

I can imagine this would be a significant project, but worthwhile if the devs envision (as I hope they do) a long lifespan for ESO.

One of the BEST ideas I've ever seen for this!

I also hate it when there is a front flap but no back flap. Makes it seem like some weird, low bib thing.

Wish we had options to enable/disable. Honestly they shouldnt even be connected to the chest, it should be part of the belt. Hip flaps or the hanging fabric, or both. At least then belts wouldn't be the biggest disappointment when you got them as a style page.

This would only work as long as we retain versions of the belts without any hip armor or loin cloths. Otherwise, we'll be back at square one, with many outfits ruined because of Belts adding hip armor and a lot of nice belt buckles ruined because the hip armor on the associated style looks bad.

Unless we're talking about adding an entierly separate, new cosmetic slot that isn't associated with the already existing belt buckles?

The easier though not very relevant option is for ZOS to just give us the rest of the Hide slots, so we can just hide the Chest and go top less. The Dev build can already do that.

But I'm not sure they're even able to single out removing pieces from existing models with just a toggle. They could refrain from including them in future styles, which, they're refusing to do apparently. Or they'd have to go back and delete them from existing styles by hand and update the game, also which they'd never do cause they have a policy of not altering any of the Art after its gone to the Live server.

Actually that is not the way I want it. I explicitely want to use certain chest pieces but exactly without that loincloth.

Jup, note that khajiit and argonians always hide back flap as it would clip tail.
So its some system for it
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
