Favorite Fantasy Lore? Least Favorite Lore?

Hello everyone, pardon if this is the wrong category to post this thread, but this seems to be as close to a "General Discussion" forum as I can find on this website...
My question is: What is your favorite fantasy game lore? And what is your least favorite?
Like for example, my favorite is Elder Scrolls lore, this is because I've played all the ES games and expansions since Morrowind, and it really introduced me to how deep a game can be in terms of story telling. Also ES lore hits a great balance between accessible and esoteric.
Least favorite would probably Diablo lore - it's too frontal... Angels vs. Demons and everything in between, doesn't appear to have too much depth.
Some runners up for best would be Warhammer 40K, and Warcraft.
Warhammer because of its varied races/factions and Warcraft because of Blizzards way of constantly evolving the lore.
