-recalls a 12 man ep gank team sitting on either of AD's gates in BR for 6 months about a year ago, not letting anyone out until big guild zergs came on (then whined about getting zerged).
-right now, AD has been dominating BR for a few camps, I hear ravenwatch has been blue basically nonstop but anytime ive been there it seems to just rotate map colors with no resistance, but Im not there often. GH this camp seems to be very focused against EP from both AD and DC, and as I am on EP this camp, can say that very often in prime time hours at least, theres tons of ep just.... sitting and waiting. but the same was true when I was on AD most camps before this one, point being that there are tons of bodies that just arent pushing those big fights for whatever reasons.
the above things have definitely impacted the 'fun' of AvAvA, its very hard to find any fights that arent a faction stack trying to take a door or a ball group at a back keep. but this has been what we have been trending toward for awhile.
I do think we need a change to AvAvA, theres many discussion pages about it. But I think shorter campaigns and the ability to play all characters in the locked campaign, but only on whatever alliance you lock to, would be a big remedy. for example, GH camps are 1 week instead of 1 month, still locked, but lets say I choose EP. my 7 AD characters can all fight for EP that campaign, but only EP (even though they are naturally AD toons).
Having all of my favorite and varied toons on AD makes me less likely to play EP or DC, which does impact who plays what alliance more often, and i sure as heck am not dishing out $30 per character every time i want to play another faction. An ingame currency token to change alliances could also help (let me spend my 4 billion AP on something). 1 week campaigns would also alleviate this, as it would be easier to play EP this week, DC next week, AD the following, and still run with friends commonly on each alliance.

Everyone just flocks to one alliance to have control of cyrodiil to ensure to always have 1st place rewards whereas the other alliances don't have much of a population anymore. It's like, what's the point of trying anymore? I remember many years ago where it was each faction was almost equal on strength, population that battles were really fun but now it's always one faction overrunning the other two factions in fights.
Before, it was many people on Pact would be on overnight and nightcap and now this campaign, seems many moved over to AD to nightcap at times and now day cap. I miss when around this time, each alliance would be poplocked and there'd be fairplay.
Something should be done about this.. remove the alliance lock, or reverse the whole decision on alliance change and force everyones characters to back to the alliance that they originally were created on or just delete all campaigns to keep only one campaign only (but ofcourse, below level 50 could remain for obvious reasons). same with Imperial City. Sure, queues could be longer, but it'd give reason to go into imperial city if you wanna pvp until you get into Cyrodiil so imperial city would atleast have more action.

What is day cap?
