I know its undaunted event, but for these who dont care much about pve content its incredible frustrating to see, there is just no playerbase anymore for the content we like on PS EU.

I know for example XBOX EU has the same issue.
Can you please work on a crossplay betwen the console servers?

I literally logged off after 30 min because there were no fights, nothing going on, its just boring.

The biggest drawback of Elder Scrolls Online as a MMO compared to a lot of the other MMO's being released today is that it still lacks crossplay support. All these new MMO's coming out on console like New World and Throne and Liberty are fully crossplay.

    I'm guessing you're DC?

I play AD and have not seen pop locked DC for a long time. EP are dominating the map hard this campaign.

By 10:00pm it was one bar blue and zero bar red and yellow on Xbox EU. The EU servers are literally in the same country, why is it so hard to implement this?

They can’t get it performing in cyro within its own version on its own server, what do you think cross play is going to do!

Yeah the situation is terrible, seems like this campaign is going to be really boring, never pop locked and 90% red dominating, we wanted fo swap faction but you guess, its locked, another smadt move by zos.

And it will get even worse, since the big pvp update will be bg the few people still pvping will get split even more.

Crossplay is the only solution tbh but i get that zos team is to busy releasing 74 new furnitures per patch...

They have said many times that they don't have any plans for crossplay which is sad even for me as a PC player where there's no issue with population.

I know it's probably never going to happen, but a single crossplay campaign between consoles would be interesting, even if they can't do it in pve, just an idea 🤔.

I'm down with cross-play across consoles, but playing the game on PC with all kinds of add-ons to the game make playing on PC an entirely different game. I DO NOT WANT to be crossplaying with people on PC. Every game that I've tried that has cross-play between console and PC has been miserable, ESPECIALLY in the realm of PVP.

So yes, go ahead and enable cross-play on console, but please leave PC to be its own separate universe.

Okay but what if i dont want to get a gaming pc and migrate to pc? Am i not part of the community on the console? Why would i be forced to swap platform and grind a new account, buy all the dlc's etc new, just because zos isnt able to keep the game alive against competition of other games?

I will rather just quit like some of my friends already did.

    What a stinky suggestion

The issue is that the game will always have a larger player base on PC compared to PS/Xbox. Since merging PS/Xbox servers isn’t possible, you might encounter a lack of PvP activity on these platforms during large PvE events.

The ZOS engine is custom-built and is based on a 2005 engine called Hero Engine. And the servers have been problematic from the start. Regarding this very bad situation, merging the console servers isn't feasible I'm afraid.

It’s unfortunate that console players have to start from scratch when switching to PC. If a smooth transition with all achievements, collectibles, etc., were possible, I would recommend moving to PC, as the game is quite light and doesn’t require high specifications.

But given the current situation, I completely understand why you wouldn’t want to switch.

Thanks for explaining. The thing is its on zos to make it work and if they cant do it more and more people will just quit. I will deffo not start from scratch, i invested few grands and thousands of hours in my account.

Yes this is what I also said a few days ago on another thread:

I think the situation will become worse and worse, month after month, if they don"t do anything. I feel like ZOS keep hiding behind the "it's not possible due to technical limits" excuse. But the players don't care about it. Just do it or see the game die.

Some players say upgrading to a very expensive high end PC with fibre internet made all the problems in Cyro go away. I don't really believe that, but maybe the game is not so light after all?
The issue is that the game will always have a larger player base on PC compared to PS/Xbox. Since merging PS/Xbox servers isn’t possible, you might encounter a lack of PvP activity on these platforms during large PvE events.

It's not just empty during events. Consoles have 4 servers while PC only has 2. As far as i know, only the 2 EU console servers complain about very low player counts. Nobody really knows how many people actually play the game at the moment, because ZOS doesn't want to give us real numbers.

Crossplay between Xbox EU and Playstation EU would be nice. But they would still have to fix the problems that made players leave ESO in the first place (performance, bugs, boringly low pop cap, etc.), otherwise it will not be enough. And i am sure other platforms will start to notice less activity on their servers too very soon.

Xbox EU was the last server to get the server hardware update, and Gray Host on Playstation EU was completely broken for almost 6 months before the update. Many players switched to NA consoles or PC because of this. Maybe that's one reason why they still have a healthy population now and we don't.

It is pretty dead on PC too. It is usually just Ballgroups getting entertained by a few desperate defenders until they get bored.

The underwhelming chapter and lack of Cyrodiil updates drove a lot of people away.

I couldnt agree more. I think the game will die if no crossplay is gonna be implemented, at least for the consoles players.

Its not just pvp, pve areas are pretty empty aswell, group finders are basically not working 90% of the time and even some trading guilds closing cuz they are saying its not worth it anymore.

I personally rather spend money on a active game and wont spend it on a dead game, whats the point.
