Endless Crashing since the last patch

Since the last patch I can't get a stable connection to the game. Finally things had seemed to settle down in Gray Host and then this patch happened, and now I'm lucky if I can get under 350 ping. This would be normally be SSDD in PVP - but the thing is that now it's happening in PVE as well. I was standing motionless inside a building in Mournhold and my ping shot up to "999+" and I crashed. What happened?

BTW this happens both with and without addons loaded, and with a straight connection or a VPN connection.

I have crashed several times since last update, just today I have crashed 6 times. I have more than enough internet and PC is not even at 50 % usage on anything.

Is this wide spread for everyone and is there a current thread already open?

As of today, I'm experiencing the same thing inside and outside of Cyrodiil, but worse in Cyro. I am normally <90 ping, but now everything is laggy (i.e. opening coffers, interacting with banker, etc.) and when I approach an area with more players, my ping shoots to 700+, then 7000+, then I am booted from server. I'd like clarify that prior to today, everything was fine for me, but when I logged in this morning (September 7, 2024) and until now, I've been experiencing endless crashing, lag, and high ping.

When I try to log back in after getting booted, I get an "Error 103."

About an hour after my last update/comment last night (~10PM Pacific), lag and high ping issues ceased and gameplay was "normal" again. Unfortunately, as of right now, I am again experiencing ping spikes and lag (i.e. slow opening menus, coffers, etc.) and overall gameplay is jittering. I've already troubleshooted my local network and didn't find any issues. There's something weird going on with the EOS megaserver this weekend.

Following up to this: was running in Gray Host today at about 3:15pm pacific time and apparently there was a large server crash . I was signed into the game directly (i.e. not on steam) and running the client as an administrator. About half my group (and it would appear a large portion of the enemies we were fighting) at Fareguyl castle crashed and were booted from server. Ping shot up to 999+ just before. My group is evenly distributed across the US and we all have different internet providers.

This has been exponentially worse since the last patch.

And I'll add that I hadn't crashed for 6 months before this. Now I can't even get near a medium sized fight in Cyrodiil without crashing.

Easy for them to refer to troubleshooting guides, if they were actually in game playing like the rest of us they would experience the issues and maybe we could get stuff fixed.

I’m not seeing Error 103, but have been having terrible ping spikes of 400-999+ since the most recent patch maintenance in all areas of the game. Yesterday was particularly terrible. Nothing has changed on my end, and it makes no difference if I have addons enabled or disabled. The only thing that changed recently is we had patch maintenance, so I would suspect the issue is related.

As of right now, I WAS in Cyro, but just got booted from server after approaching a medium fight at CHAL. Ping spiked to 2000. This issue is very frustrating because it's intermittent.

I am getting lag spikes and disconnects as well.
This last hour alone I have been booted 7 times already, generating all kinds of different errors. I got 103, an unexpected one for which I should contact customer service, Connection to the server timed out and a lot of 307's: This error indicates that you have been disconnected from the megaserver.

My internet tested 810 Mbps download and 71 upload with a 25 ping.

Very aware that my post won't do anything but I figured, I let ZOS know nevertheless.

Have a great day, I am going to find something else to play today.
