Pregnancy Test??

Uhhh, so its 9/3/24 ~7:30am EST and I get on ESO to do my daily dungeon and I do Volenfell, going pretty normal when suddenly an ingame message pops up that..no joke..said "Take Pregnancy Test" with Yes and No as options. It was on the screen briefly and 3 of my group members had green check marks with me having a red X, then the message went away....so....wth was that?

There is a way to replace default ready check with a custom message. Google says it's /script BeginGroupElection(1, '<msg here>') , but I havent tried it myself. I've seen it a bunch of times, though.

Do you and other people in your group have an addon that lets you make custom ''ready check'' messages? I don't use addons anymore but years and years ago there was one that could do that that my friends and I used.

/Script BeginGroupElection(nil,"CUSTOM MESSAGE HERE",nil)

Example:

/Script BeginGroupElection(nil,"Take Pregnancy Test",nil)

That will print out a custom ready check.

I don't think you need the addon to see it, just to create a custom check.

Looks like the servers are going to be taken down for an emergency 16 hour maintenance to adjust the API.

Are you making a joke or being serious? Was that a humorous "prediction" or have the servers been taken down? I'm not at my computer so I can't see whether I'm able to log in.

maintenance already happened for an actual patch today. the servers are online

And maintenance to adjust the api probably wouldn't take 16 hours if it ever happened.

You can type "/readycheck let's kill 'em" and people will get a ready check that says "let's kill 'em". Not sure if it's that or the script mentioned

I got that once.
It was my partner using the ready check command to call me fat.

Dolgubon changes the names of the mats that Lazy Writ Crafter processes at one particular event.
Some sort of easter egg.

I never find it funny, it's mostly distracting.

Be careful, some of this stuff may end up being 'an exploit'.
