Is pvp in cyrodiil coming to end in eu?

On a Saturday night, on BR you have only Ep locked pop and on GH you have DC and AD locked pop. I would suggest closing one the cp campaigns already, so that there are enough numbers to make a campaign with full populations on all sides. Either that or zos urgently needs to address the issues that are stopping people from playing pvp.

People are farming the new sets from infinite archive. Give it another week or so and it will most likely be back to usual numbers.

I agree with having only 1 campaign left, but you have to blame player base for this as well. EP pop locked in br vs 1 bar dc/ad, because they can't win against equal numbers in GH and just want to pvdoor empty keeps without participating in pvp and zerg down few remaining ad/dc players who actually went to pvp there against greater numbers.

As a pc eu player who plays cyrodiil pvp since late 2016 I can confirm that EP is and always has been night capping faction in cp pvp.

Downsizing and deleting parts of the game does not make everyone magically want to play with each other. Would you still play ESO if the card game was the only thing left? Or would you just play another game?

1.) They said we can't have a queue for deathmatch battlegrounds, because otherwise there would not be enough players for the other game modes. But this lack of options, and attempt to manipulate players into playing something they don't enjoy, is one reason why many players (like me) don't play bgs at all.

2.) There was a time when Gray Host wasn't working right on Playstation EU, while Blackreach was fine (well not fine really, but at least it worked better than Gray Host). It was the year before the server hardware refresh, and a maintenance broke Gray Host completely. "The team" did not do anything about it for almost 6 months. As a result Gray Host was empty for almost 6 months.

Now you could have expected all the players from Gray Host move to Blackreach and play there, right? Some of them did. But many just stopped playing ESO, or started over on Playstation NA, or PC. Most of them never came back. Now Playstation EU it's still empty and boring most of the time. While Playstation NA players are complaining about long queues now, EU didn't even have lonh queues during the pvp event.

The only difference between Gray Host and Blackreach was the alliance lock (and the name of the campaign). But it was enough to cripple the pvp community on Playstation EU until today.

3.) 12 player groups instead of 24 player groups didn't help anyone and just hurt the community.

4.) Shrinking max pop in Cyrodiil to a point where there is hardly anything going on anymore, even when the server is "full".

5.) Removing deer from Cyrodiil in an effort to improve performance... i hope they come back to haunt us in a big PvP DLC one day.

6.) Removing sets to improve performance. If i remember correctly, this didn't end well either.

Band aid fixes will not help us. The team will have to fix the foundation and then rebuild. Otherwise they will just keep "working on" cheap fixes that cause more harm than good, until there is no one left to play the game anymore.

If EP wins blackreach this campaign it will be the first time since blackreach was created 4.5 years ago, before they were always outnumbered and usually last rank with only a few times second.
EP pop locked in br vs 1 bar dc/ad has never happened before, but pop locked DC or AD vs 1 bar EP was nothing unusual.
EP gained 3-4k lead during MYM, lost it a few days later to DC and only regained it on 5 days ago
and DC/AD zergs didnt show up after this because they are not interested in fair fights.
Even in the middle of this month DC zerged for days on blackreach and were first rank on 3 lvl 50 campaigns at the same time, they still are on grey host and ravenwatch.
It is no wonder that EP focus on winning blackreach rather than trying to win grey host greyhost which is impossible(EP:42k, AD:64k, DC:106k(I know most players dont care about score but it still shows how unbalanced und unfun the campaign is)). Today EP doesnt outnumber other alliances anymore, so you complain about EP zerging Blackreach for 4 days after getting zerged for 4 years.
For Years DC took every night PvDoored whole map between 11pm and 3 am when AD took over taking whole map until 7 am and usually defending until afternoon or letting other alliances take a few keeps to PvDoor whole map again while EP had no time of day where they usually dominated blackreach.

PvP players just cant or dont want to split evenly between factions in the same campaign. Combining all campaigns into only one where entire factions are fighting each other would solve the problem that every faction stacks on different campaign and create balance if factions across all campaigns had same numbers.
However if factions altogether have different player numbers and not all reach faction lock there will still be zerging and if not players will change that as most pvpers dont want fair even numbered fights but zerg down and farm solo players.
Need a Cyrodiil campaign with same numbers from all 3 faction enforced by capacity limited to lowest faction numbers and and another campaign/playmode where the rest gets split evenly independent of their faction.

ZOS cultivates player behavior through the ingame reward structure. It’s strange to blame players for behaving in a way that the game incentivizes.

Every summer for several years now, pact veterans decide, that it is time for some rest. Traveling with friend, resting at favorite places. That mean, that pact at PC/EU GH don't has enough veterans to fight DC factionstackers. Similarly things are AD, but they depend on few elite groups, so they are off for shorter time then EP.

So why should I spend my time fighting DC factionstack, when I know I cannot rely on my allies, because most of them are casuals, quick to die. GH is very bad place for casuals. So yes, we EP players from GH rewrote how is BR working now.

What you are missing in your description of situation is, that there is still, every day time when DC has high numbers in BR. But after they got destroyed in even numbers on both sides, they either go GH or relog to EP character.

This is probably very annoy DC players who had most of the year space to zerg everything and they are getting destroyed now instead. So don't be afraid, we will return to GH probably now. Because summer is ending. But nothing can be said for sure.

    PvP - Recruit.
    PvE - Dragon food
RPG - A guy who thought, that he can defeat daedric prince, yet guards still chase him off when he accidentally touches some object during daily writs.

Idc about history of BR, its *** garbage meme campaign.

EP would nightcap grayhost since beginning of time and BR is zerged by ep now only, because 90% ep population from grayhost moved to blackreach to avoid competition at night in grayhost, because we would give them hell there for trying to nightcap.

I would love to see crossplay implemented but alas the servers just aren’t big enough anymore. Pop lock is (what) 75 of each alliance? You’ll be forever queuing. They could start merging some of the less populated servers but without adequate hardware upgrades I fear it just won’t work

The potential Cyrodiil had back in the day of being the next fortnite phenomenon had it not been neglected makes me so sad
