What skill is pushing and/or pulling people off of bridges, milegated, and posterns in Cyrodiil?

PlayStation/NA, maybe 20 minutes ago. Huge battle between us (DC) and AD. I'm on my healbot, doing healbot things, when suddenly this red "laser beam" catapults me all the way off the bridge, into the water, where slaughterfish eat me.

I have never seen this, ever, and I have been in many a huge bridge battle in GH.

Death Recap was of no use, and the skill, incidentally, either did no damage, or just barely any at all, to the point of negligible.

I also hit post too soon. Saw the same skill used to knock another DC player off the top of Sejanus maybe 10 minutes later.

I'm not sure at all. I've barely touched scribing, so I'm honestly extremely unfamiliar with it.

Scribing has an aoe knock back that was being used a lot last MYM. Wardens also exploit the frozen device deal to pull players off bridges and no way to mitigate the slaughterfish.

Sounds like Rush of Agony. Sorcs in particular have been abusing RoA by streaking, so when you get the pull you’re moved over a large distance. If they streaked somewhere along the banks of the river, that could have been what pulled you in the water.

It is one of the new scribing skill. You can add knock-back to almost all of them. Like you can make Torch skill that sweeps player away... with every sweep. It looks hilarious lol.

The reason why people use Destro skill for it, is the knockback range. For some reason, for this skill the knock-back range is the greatest. It is a shame cuz it is again pushing everyone into using Destro stick (Hybridization, Hallo ?! Some Stam/mag balance please ? Anyone ? ? ?) XD

Personally, In general, I think that push/pull/konckback CCs should not be at all on the list of "stuff" you can add to Scribing skills. Game handles CC poorly in general and lack of visual feedback & lag only makes things worse. It only leads to toxic situations when toxic players benefit from new features (such as the one described by the OP, when a player does not benefit at all from it, but only makes experience extremely frustrating for other players).

One could argue that knockback technically can be used against a ball group when they are running inside the keep, to one-by-one knock them down to the outer walls, but it is kinda hard to pull of such a trick. Not only ball groups have almost 100% uptime on CC immunity, but, you need to not to be in combat to switch skills around and if a ball group is near, you are in combat cuz... "it is a feature" lol....

Warden gate is what I've seen used most to pull people off the bridge.

I usually see the warden gate or DK chains, especially on the Alessia bridge.

Is this an exploit of some sort?
    You should probably report it.

I got knocked off the bridge once, and then chained back in midair.

Was pretty funny hovering over the slaughterfish for a second.
