Game crash detected

I can't start the game at all after the last update. I have repaired the files and also uninstalled and reinstalled the game but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Thanks for the links. I tried them all but no luck. I've decided to revert to playing on my desktop PC (instead of my laptop) - fortunately the updated patcher works fine on that.
