I meant a set. I like some of the sorc skills
Still have to do a dummy parse, but the new set looks pretty good actually (playing a non-pet sorc). That 15% damage done bonus is basically minor+major slayer, while leaving the door open to add the minor+major slayer buff on top. Skinny cheeks made a pretty insightful comment in a video saying it looks boring because of the 2 & 4 piece bonuses, but if you shuffle the values around a bit to focus on the damage bonuses you can see how stat dense it is.
This is an example (don't think it's the exact one shown in the video, but works just as well) of what it could look like, same bonuses but presented differently to look more like trial gear. I've removed the pet and battle spirit condition for clarity.
Beacon of Oblivion
(2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health.
(3 items) Increase your Damage Done and Healing Done by 5%.
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage.
(5 items) Increase your Damage Done and Healing Done by 10%, adds 1487 Armor.

The sets are not that good for the sorc I agree to that but let's be real here .... sorcs don't need more buffs nor damage ... they're busted already ... imagine giving them a set on top of that to make them even stronger ... already feels like "The Elder Sorcs Online" ... no need to add more to it
try the templar ones and you'll love the sorc sets

Hm, I wonder what Aetheric Lancer would've looked like if the set was meant for Sorcerers instead..?
Aetheric Lancer Beacon of Oblivion
(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(3 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(5 items) Dealing damage with a Daedric Summoning ability twice within 30 seconds creates a 5 meter area for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 6 seconds. While in the area, casting a Daedric Summoning ability summons a Banekin that attacks your target, dealing 1684 Shock Damage and applying Concussed and increasing your Weapon and Spell Damage by 300 for 6 seconds. The damage scales off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage.

Imagine the possibilities with a set like that.
You’d get the increased shock damage and the % increase to the 300 directly from slotted Sorcerer skills through their passives, and the Banekin would get the 45% damage from Daedric Prey.
This is what a cohesive Daedric Summoning set should look like. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin

When I wrote that down I didn't think of the fact that the Banekin would have been buffed by Prey, so the base value probably should have been a bit lower, but I think that it would definitely have been a cooler set than the current BoO.
The Warden's Aerie's Cry set also would have made for a decent Daedric Summoning set. ZOS obviously knows how to design interesting sets - it's a shame that BoO was released in the state it's currently in.
Aerie's Cry Daedric's Call(2 items) Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration
(3 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(5 items) Dealing damage with a Light Attack applies Daedric's Mark to your target for 12 seconds. Daedric's Mark summons a Banekin to attack your target every 3 seconds after a 3 second delay, dealing 856 Shock Damage per attack. Applying Daedric's Mark grants you Daedric's Call for 12 seconds, increasing your damage done with Daedric Summoning abilities by 10% against enemies with Daedric's Mark. This effect can occur every 3 seconds but cannot be applied to enemies who have Daedric's Mark. You can have one Daedric's Mark active at a time.
the only situation i can think of that makes sense is if you want to run a no pet oakensorc.
sergeants, oblivion, oakensoul

Try to stay on topic @IncultaWolf, the thread is clearly about a set for Sorcerer, or more pointedly, a Daedric Summoner.
Hardened Ward does not work with pet builds, and anyone who’s ever played a Sorcerer before, would know that, simply having a pet active removes the burst heal associated with the skill, forcing you to run the much weaker morph.
There is nothing “properly powerful and cool” about a pet Sorc in PvP, and this set could have been a remedy to that.

I fully agree with this. I play a pet sorc as my main and it sucks, but it is what I know. I am usually killed. In fact, the ones that can't kill me quickly must suck quite a bit! I have even held off 2 others for a while in the past week or so, but that was the rare time.
