Hello! I am trying forum as a last resort, since at this point I've almost given up.
I've been playing the game since February 26, 2014. I had to take a long break from the game because of the war that happened in my region.
I don't do much ingame - I decorate and re-decorate my houses. My houses hold sentimental values, since some of my friends who are no longer with us used to come by and admire my houses.
Now onto my issue:
My account,
@Ziptholomew, is bound to a Steam account which I used before I fled the country.
I cannot change the country of my Steam account for fear of breaking my games there (I have 965 games on this account and I cannot rist it).
The problem is, I can no longer buy crowns, which I need to decorate my houses.
It wasn't a big deal - I figured, I could ask my husband to set up ESO on his Steam account, so that he can 'sponsor' me with crown crates.
He relocated before me, and had everything set up already, including his games. He bought the game , bought a bunch of stuff - and then we realised that there's a new crown store policy in place, which prevents you from gifting crowns unless specific conditions are met.
Ok, fair enough - it's a shame we invested, but we can live with that.
Since there is now an option to 'unlink' the game from Steam, I figured I shall simply move the game to my new Steam account, in my new country of residence.
I was able to 'unlink' the game just fine. But I could not link it to my new Steam account either! Despite having the game and everything acquired once again!
I tested some more and apparently I can only unlink and link the game back to the same Steam account. I lost my own ability to gift crowns at this point, but I don't particularly care about it.
Is there any way to transfer my account to my current Steam account, where I can pay for my stuff?
I understand that my account is mediocre, but I care a lot about my houses that took years to set up. I really hope someone can help me.
Cheers, Kate
