Treasure Maps Guide with location screenshots

Hi everyone,
For the last few weeks I have been searching for treasure maps and their hidden locations. As a result, I have completed nine treasure maps guides for different zones, and I hope you'll find them useful. I would like to thank Mogilka from the beta forum for making a comprehensive list of hints, and also ESO community members who sent me numerous location screenshots. This is still work in progress and I'm adding new zones almost every day.
Treasure maps are items in Elder Scrolls Online that reveal locations of buried chests. Each treasure map is in form of a sketch and its main purpose is to give you a hint where to look for buried treasure. Location is always well hidden. The place where you should dig up the treasure chest is covered with dirt mound, and it’s visible only to players with the corresponding map in their inventory.
There are several ways to acquire maps, but, keep in mind that drop probability is very low:
Each land contains several buried treasure chests, and the number depends on the zone level. Usually you can expect to acquire two or six treasure maps per land. There are also additional CE Treasure Maps which are available as bonus to those who pre-purchased the Collectors Edition of the game (usually one per zone).

- random loot from locked / unlocked chests

DarkInvictus✭✭It should be noted that even if you have picked up a map or know the location of a secret chest, you cannot see it unless you have the map in your inventory.
I learnt this the hard way by taking a picture with my phone of a map for the stonefall zone and ran across half the land looking for the right spot to discover I couldn't see it without retrieving my map from the bank.5 -

Found it yesterday.
It is like south of the "Poacher Camp" rare mob boss.
It is before the roads and not near water (which the map makes it look like).
(Wouldn't mind a mention :P )1 -

Head south east from poachers and down the small cliff. looking south you'll see a circle of stones. If you look on your map you'll be due west of Laeloria

Found it yesterday.

Rantog✭✭✭✭I'm still trying to figure out where I go to get to Alik'r desert or Betnikh.
The frustration of walking for an hour only to find yourself staring at a cliff face with no way around.... not exactly making me Forgiving of all the bugs and the gold spammers - whoa are making full use of the in-game mail system so that the Ignore feature isn't even helpful any longer.0 -
