U43 - So whatever happended to curated set drops from pvp bags?

During the update 43 preview stream, Finn mentioned that curated item set drops will be granted from "pvp bags".

That was one of the features I was waiting for with excitment (foolish me )
As I checked: Rewards for the worthy - not curated, all types of bags from daily quests in cyrodill - not curated, bags you buy from merchants in Cyro for for 12k AP - not curated.
The patch notes only speak about the Imperial City Monster Set Shoulder Coffers, TBH that is not what comes to my mind when I hear "pvp bags". Will this be implemented later on or what has happened?

as we saw on pts and in the u43 patch notes from today the new PvP curation is only for PvP Shoulders.

Item Set Curation Additions
To assist with various item chases throughout Tamriel, the following coffers will now offer curation.As with all curation, the coffers will only award items you have not yet collected. Once you have collected all pieces, curation will end and the coffers will once again reward random pieces.

- Undaunted Monster Set Shoulder Coffers
This affects only the specific dungeon coffers offered by Maj al-Ragath, Glirion the Redbeard, and Urgarlag Chief-Bane. The mystery coffers are not affected by curation.
These coffers will be for sale for 8 undaunted keys.

- Imperial City Monster Set Shoulder Coffers
- Weekly Trial Reward Coffers

i know you mentioned the patch notes in your post, but we've known it to be like this since u43 went to pts last month.

i was also hoping for other PvP bags so i could more easily complete all pvp sets.
perhaps that curation will happen in another future update

We think he misspoke in that clip and had since corrected the mistake. Finn was just so excited on stream. The patch note is correct noting the Imperial City Monster Set Shoulder Coffers for curated item set drops. That being said, We will pass the info along as a suggest for future item set curation.

what about the Cyrodiil Monster Shoulder pieces? why weren't they curated at this time?

what about the Cyrodiil Monster Shoulder pieces? why weren't they curated at this time?

If I were to make a guess I'd say is because accruing AP is significantly easier than accruing tel var.

My poor wallet was crying and screaming when I spent (give or take) 1M tel-var completing the IC shoulders last year's Zenithar where yesterday I spent 5M AP on various boxes, style pages and stuff without a second thought and I don't even PvP anymore (bye Ravenwatch ), I just PvDoor.

but aren't keys even easier to get? yet, undaunted shoulder coffers are curated now. it also shouldn't matter if it's easier, since it's the exact same type of container that serves exactly the same purpose. they should all be consistent.

Personally I don't think so, even after the recent buffing of key yield.

And that is from a PvE player perspective, getting keys for a primarily PvP player is probably peak drudgery.

Said that I am not defending their choice, I am just making a guess as of why they made said choice. I could also be wildly off and what I mentioned maybe didn't even factor in their decision.

There should be a way to get all PVP items (the exact item you want and not random RNG) that are purchased with AP in Cyrodiil from all vendors. Having to spend 500k to 1.5mil AP just to get all items from 1 set is beyond chitty (you know what I mean) DO IT ZOS!

It is a massive disappointment that PvP gear in general was not added to curation, this is one of the things I was most looking forward to for update 43.

I hope the devs will add it in update 44.

So what is curated now? I didn't see a clear answer.

I bought 3 boxes where I needed items and it looks like I did not get any I needed.

Not much for curation.

Not so great change, except for a very limited set of players.
