I have addons but no clue what causing my UI to break just by looking at it

As suggested, first make sure your addons are all up to date. If the problem still occurs after doing that:

A good way to figure out if it's an addon causing it is to disable all your addons. Then add them back one by one until the problem occurs. The last one you added will be the culprit.

If the problem occurs when you have no addons enabled, then it's a bug in the game itself.

Doing a quick search for the error code others are having a similar problem and it has something to do with using a game pad and having the new gremore items in inventory. According to one post ZoS is aware and making changes. I didn't do much more than a quick glance though so not sure if they found a solution or what add-on is actually causing the problem.

The screenshot mentions an addon 'PriceTooltip', so first try disabling just that addon to see if the errors vanish. If that fails, try other things.

You could also try searching your addons' source files for the text (case-sensitive) "IsInUI", because part of the error involves an attempted (but disallowed) call to that function.

At least, that's what I could see from the screenshot.

I've had this issue and it's generally when the scribing items are either in view or, if by miracle they load, they are interacted with

I know after messing around that the Trait Buddy add on (like craftstore but shows the learned/not learned tooltip while using controller UI) pops up in the error message if it's on but I still have issues even if it is disabled, haven't really cared enough to dig any deeper as I can mess deal with the scribing stuff on my pc

Yup, always. Strange thing is this is my main character I use but other characters dont have this issue.

At least, that's what I could see from the screenshot.

Pricetool tip is just for price show ups which does not show on bound things so could be the issue but also would not break almost everytime I deposit or even look at it which breaks my game so I have to reload.

Though I have to test it

Can it be ignored, or does it keep popping up? I get a UI error like that every time I load up the game. But I just press 'e' and don't see it again until I next load up the game. I suspect 'No Thank You' is causing my issues, it appears to be abandoned by the mod authors. But I cba to troubleshoot becuase it's only ever bothersome when I load up the game.

I was thinking that myself. It gives me fits if it's on and I try to open mail on my mains (only ones who open mail....) So I shut it off on the mains, but I leave it on on the rest of my alts, as it's otherwise very valuable (because I do NOT want random invites for ANY reason from ANYONE).

You should really have made a post in add on section on this forum for this question.

Try to disable in Settings for that add on everything that is active and enable one by one what you need No Thank You to do. It is possible to use No Thank You even when there is one or several setting that might trigger error and only those active that still work as they should and isn't trigger error.

I suspect that you have error from that setting that are related to not open books or documents when you interact with those items as I had that type of error and when disabled ("don't read/open books when you interact" - I think it is called), this error stopped, but I could still use those settings that are for gathering and not interrupt when you move camera etc.

It's been a very useful addon, and I feel like it's still doing something for me, even though it's out of date, which is why I haven't just removed it. If it has been abandoned there might be another mod that does a similar thing. I need to test and investigate really, but I'm lazy.

Not my question, sorry. I was just trying to provide some cold comfort to the op, by suggesting the error could be ignored.

About a year ago (when I last played), No Thank You was playing up and making it so I couldn't keep a book open on my screen, it would open the book and immediately close it, giving me no time to read anything. But that issue has resolved itself now. Literally the ony issue I get is the error message on start up, nothing else. I don't even know if it is No Thank You, just a hunch as it's one of my only out of date addons. I can troubleshoot addons, it's just a faff with all the reloadui, and I can't be bothered right now. Hence my suggestion to just ignore.

Try "bug catcher" addon it will help you find out what addon is causing problems.

Everytime I see it and when I ignore it breaks what ever I was using. If I dropped it in bank then everything is invisible and have to reload. I looked at it in my inventory then supplies will be bugged and cant click on it until reload.
