Icy Retreat is being exploited in Cyrodiil

Players are being teleported through walls with Icy Retreat. There are even those that go as far to exploit the skill to sit on the side of a bridge and use it to forcefully pull them through walls and make them fall off and hit the water to be forced killed by slaughterfish.

Yall patched all other pulling skills to prevent this yet yall haven't even patched Icy Retreat and just letting them do this exploit.

Uh, yeah I mean the bridge pullers are hilarious. When someone occassionally gets pulled through a wall that's funny too. Not that big a deal. I've been pulled MANY times, but I wouldn't call it abuse.

Careful now, zos really doesn't like people publicly discussing exploits combat mechanics that don't work as intended. I know of at least one streamer who got permabanned doing so.

I made a report about a exploit on IC bases on this same mechanics abuse since 6 days.
No answer so far but my thread about it on this forum has been censured.
This game will die like a rotten Apple if this continue this way…

We are not allowed to talk about exploits because the company thinks it will make more players use them.

We should just report in silence and wait for the devs to fix it.

But we don't know if anyone is reading the reports and looking at the videos, because we don't get feedback at all. Is anyone working on it? Do the right people even know about it?

I am pretty sure nobody ever looked at any of my videos when i reported something, because i can see how many people watched the links. Most of them still have zero views a couple of years later.

So i stopped reporting anything because i felt like there is no point. It's time consuming and complicated, and i am risking my account by reproducing and proving what's happening in the game. No thanks.

Silencing players and not talking about problems might take away some pressure for the devs, but that's a bad thing for the game. They need to feel the pressure, otherwise they have no motivation to do anything about it.

The culture of silence and bans doesn't work. Otherwise there wouldn't be so many "bugthesda" memes.

When something is broken, they should just deactivate it or shut it down until it's fixed.
