game crashes while in dialog

when i play its ok but if im staying too long in a dialog with an NPC the game crashes, so i cant really read the text and experience the game\mission story...

Does this begin to happen after a certain amount of time when playing or is it no matter how long you've played, if you have a dialog window open too long the game crashes?

you cant know but when im in dialog too long im taking the chance that it will crash
