I am only able to hear what my screen is pointing at. This makes it particularly strange when companions, or NPCs are chasing after me telling me things, and I hear none of it because they're tagging along behind me. It's also distracting in general as ambient sounds like waterfalls, fire, etc. turn on and off like a switch. Is this intended and the same for everyone, or is something wrong with my audio?
I have two desktop speakers facing toward me. In Windows settings, Audio Enhancements and Spatial Sound is turned off. My Reaktek drivers are up-to-date and my mobo bios firmware is also up to date.
