Scribing rewards issues

I did my first world boss daily post scribing questline, did Looming Shadows got the coffer but when I opened it it did this to my UI:
I can't open or see anything I can only Alt-F4 to exit the game and restart, returning the coffer remained and did the same thing, I clicked as if retrieving items, heard noise but don't think I actually got anything, returning again after another Alt-F4 coffer is gone

TimeViewer✭✭✭✭This bug seems to be more than just coffers involving all scripting items, first off I should have said I use Windows 11, Steam client with a controller, I believe the controller UI is at issue here. I tried depositing my Grimoire - Soul Burst into my bank and this happened:
The bank items still show and after searching through the Grimoire could not be found, relogging I just found it back in my inventory.0 -

TimeViewer✭✭✭✭Update: same issue when I deposited an Ashen Infernus Gate into my bank, so far no other items, maps, etcetera, do this

✭✭✭✭Does this behavior occur after you’ve disabled all of your add-ons and libraries?
LibESOHubPrices and Controller Tweaks were both found by other players to cause similar issues to what you’re showing here. There may be others that need to be updated for U42, and they may not be obviously connected to gamepad mode.
I use gamepad myself, and even with add-ons and libraries installed the game has not done this for me. But I don’t use the ones people have found to cause the issue.
ETA: To answer your last question, yes, some of us do test in gamepad mode on PTS. But even in keyboard mode I find myself disabling almost all add-ons there because many need to be updated, which was especially true this cycle. I even had to disable my UI add-on this time around.Edited by virtus753 on 15 June 2024 14:470 -

I really hate all this "have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in" after updates ever since they stopped internal support but thanks for the answer on both counts
