EHT Community App Troubles

Hi all- is anyone experiencing an issue with EHT's community app not working whatsoever? I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my computer, performed every update known to man, reloaded my ui a gods awful amount of times, made sure to run the 'update' execution through administrator, told my firewall to allow the app...nothing. The community app is not detected. The addon itself works fine, but I'm tired of my computer telling me the app isn't working, or that I can't sign guest journals, or do anything involving the community app itself. Help. This only started happening recently and for the life of me I cannot figure out why this issue is suddenly happening.

I had this problem as well and honestly I wish I remembered how I fixed it. I think I frankensteined together parts of EHT that did function and put it into a new folder. I was having issues with Windows itself not being able to access some of the EHT folders/exe.

Appreciate your response. I went to Cardinal's addon on esoui and thank god I'm not the only one. I wish I knew what was going on

I know he's probably insanely busy so I feel bad even complaining. Scared to mess with anything involving saved variables or clearing the cache. But honestly I doubt either has anything to do with the community app itself not functioning. Losing my mind.

I'm having the same problems with it but my friend isn't. I don't know why it's ok for him but not me but I hope they find a solution soon.

Ehhh I was having trouble for quite a while so I’m still salty about it. Lost my mind a couple times trying everything under the sun to fix it. If you’re scared of messing anything up, you can go in and copy/paste your variables and your EHT addon folder into a new location and rename it. I did that a lot.

Edit: might’ve also had something to do with HousingHub being in the wrong place? Like it was inside the EHT folder where it automatically goes but needed to be out with the other addons or something… sorry, I tried so many things and it’s been like a month so it all blurs together. I just hope mine isn’t broken now.

Does deleting saved variables affect your saved effects or open houses? Tempted to try that, but I still doubt it would affect the application itself not working. I feel like it's a code issue or something, given recent code updates with ZoS. I think.

I deleted my variables and I lost my saved effects but not my open houses. If you want to delete your variables I’d just rename and move the folder instead of actually deleting them so you can put them back.

Also this sounds pretty similar. The game itself cannot detect the community app somehow, despite the addon working just fine. The app also freezes anytime I click it on my taskbar, if it even shows up at all. Like right now it decided to take a vacation. Just not there. Checked windows but I still have 10 and not a whole lot has changed with that in 84 years.

Interesting, my problem started when I had to get a new computer and thus also got updated to Windows 11. I don’t think I was able to get the app to run and when it did run it still wasn’t functioning right.

My trouble started with Gold Road. It was never an issue before.

Today when I logged on I realized that two of my Open Houses were now unlisted. I didn't unlist them and not sure why this happened. I was able to relist.

It also showed that I had a new Guest but it had been several days since anyone signed a guest book.

This issue is back. I keep getting errors this evening that EHT Community can't connect again.

Hmm. I'll log in to see if it's working. Seems to be fine for me.
