Playstation 4 version of the game is horrible to play!

Freezes and really bad performance are not new in this game. But on PS4 it's just getting worse.

Why would anyone still play the ps4 version, some people might want to ask? Because the ps5 doesn't allow us to play the ps5 version with a ps4 controller for some reason... And if your ps5 controller flew out the window (greedy birds) or has problems like stick drift, well then you can either wait for a new controller or play the ps4 version with one of your old controllers... Some people just can't afford a new console. Some people don't want to play the ps5 fan lottery. Some people are waiting for the ps5 pro. Some people just don't like the new ps5 controllers etc.

Long story short, there are still plenty of people playing the ps4 version of this game. And on ps4, ps4 pro and ps5 it's horrible to play. Would be nice if someone in "the team" took a minute to fix this.

Btw: This is after doing all the troubleshooting and tips and tricks, so it's a game issue. Ps5 version of this game works way better. Please fix the old bugs too and don't just focus on PC players. Thanks.

Please buy a PS5 so they can just discontinue PS4 support already and we can all have a better experience when they're not forced to accomodate ancient hardware.

Please buy a PS5 so they can just discontinue PS4 support already and we can all have a better experience when they're not forced to accomodate ancient hardware.

Nope - Old hardware has nothing to do with this game’s actual issues.

Develop good practices for coding, optimize the game, and make better choices with game direction. That’s all. If you believe in the whole “replacing old consoles will fix all our issues” thing then you’re very mistaken.

Now I will say after 10 years of spaghetti code this might no longer be possible, but that’s not the fault of older consoles.

Well I'm not having the problems that I read about online here.

So I can assume alot of people's complaints are outdated hardware or they're getting ripped off by their interest service provider.

I quit playing for the 2ish years between the release of Morrowind and when I finally got a PS4 Pro because of bad PS4 performance. I can't really imagine it's gotten much better in the years since.

Also, the SSD in the PS5 makes the PS4 Pro experience feel terrible in comparison.

I recommend upgrading to PS5 if at all possible.

I was going to suggest the same thing. The PS5 pro comes out November..perfect time to upgrade.
