First up Crimson:

clearly states using an ability that gives major or minor buffs will cause crimson to proc.

Currently I am using
ujh5xx6oyew2.png
ability from scribing and its not proccing crimson even though its applying minor resolve

i am also using:

Refreshing path that applies 3 different major/minor buffs and its also not applying crimson.

while dark cloak doesn't give a major buff its connected to a passive that gives major resolve while I personally don't like that that doesn't count, It does make sense. But the other 2 should proc crimson when they are not.

@ZOS_Kevin can we please have some sort of feedback on what to expect from what procs crimson vs what doesn't. Are scribing abilities just not going to proc it in general? why is refreshing path not proccing it?

Not entirely the same problem, but related, I’ve found that using your major resolve skill to proc crimson is a terrible idea. I don’t recall exactly what it was I was doing or what class but it would’ve been necro (bone armor) or sorc (mag hurricane). Sometimes it’d proc, sometimes it wouldn’t, could spam the skill and it’d take a while to go off. I think it has to do with already having the buff (or that in general re-application doesn’t count) from a warden’s frost cloak but I cant be 100% certain. Either way, doesn’t seem to be working right in that situation either.

yes its specifically a Jorvould cloak since eso chooses the longer lasting buff over the one recently cast that will happen. While unfortunate its sadly something we will just need to put up with. So if a Jorvould healer casts their cloak thats a 27 second major resolve buff. So for 7 seconds (assuming your resolve buff is 20) you cant apply major resolve to yourself because you already have a longer duration resolve on you.
