Also, "Heavy Attack weaving" performs worse.
It used to be that you could keep pressed the HA button all the time and press skill buttons just before the HAs ended and it would "weave".
This is not working as well as before, often requiring you to release the HA button to fire a skill, otherwise the input for the skill would not be taken.
Has anyone noticed this too?
It appears to be any ranged ground-targeted ability with a fairly pronounced animation. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Scalding Rune + morphs
- Elemental Ring
- Lightweight Beast Trap
- Elemental Rage ult
- Shooting Star ult + morphs
- (Sorc) Lightning Flood + morphs
- (Warden) Winter's Revenge + morphs
- (Necro) Avid Boneyard + morphs
- (DK) Eruption + morphs
- (Templar) Blazing Spear + morphs
I don't know what change they made behind the scenes, but having to regularly break HA chains just to get these abilities to fire can hamper output quite significantly - especially in poor instancing scenarios where fights can start to get laggy (e.g. vMoL twins).
