Silorn Bosses have issues

    Anyone had them spawn while waiting?

    Or is it just a "roll your chances" on them being there when you run through?

    This is my fourth or fifth camping attempt, and I usually give up after about 20 minutes.

    They are fixing it next incremental patch (following monday), but if you go in and you are on the right instance, itll spawn within 5 mins.


    EDIT: If after 5 mins he doesn't spawn, port to a friend/guildie/etc., and go back in to try to get a different instance.

    yeah, i've not had any luck at all and i've run it nearly every day since gold road dropped.

    haven't checked today, kind of burnt out on the place.

    i just checked it once a day until i got lucky with the instance lol

    found the quickest route to him that doesnt require running around the entire dungeon either (hastily drawn path on map incoming lol)

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    Agreed. If he is immune to damage while his adds work, then he should not be doing damage. Otherwise, I need to be able to be immune to damage for 20 seconds while I clean up, too.

    What I did was go to the boss room (using a short path similar to above). If the boss was not there, I collected all of the loot from the room (soul gems, coins) and logged out, then logged back in right away so that I would enter the game still in the dungeon. I had to do this a half dozen times before the bosses decided to come out and greet me.

    Viikor has an absurd amount of damage mitigation considering how much damage it is putting out.
    I think one of the FG2 bosses has a similiar mitigation, but it requires you to cause that by killing its adds.
    I usually do around 45k dps againstr a boss single target.
    As a side note, i did not attack the boss durings its invulnerable phases, and those phases lasted less than 20 seconds per.

    Is Viktor the minotaur in the hall below the guy who never spawns?

    If so that thing is totally at WB level.

    Looks like that the last patch fix it. I got both now, but yes, Vii packs quite a punch :)

    June 21st, Silorn Boss (Shaman Rezzutum) still not spawning in some instances.

    The other bosses in the dungeon (PS NA) seem to spawn on the correct timers but the Shaman seems bugged in the majority of the instances. People are still putting in chat that it's taking 30+ minutes to spawn or more.

    Shaman Rezzutum and Bone-Breaker are still bugged and they are the last boss I need from Silorn public dungeon

    For me Viikor doesn't feel like it's harder.
    I don't remember i've defeated any gruop event bosses by myself in whole game.

    Viikor is the first group boss in years in an overland public dungeon that I cannot get below 40% solo. It often takes me a while to understand the mechs and I often have to try a dungeon boss or world boss a few times to work them out but I just gave up yesterday. ... I'll go back with more pen and more aoe 's and try again and see what I am missing. My DPS isn't vet DLC trials standard but it shouldn't have to be that good to be able kill adds in time in an overland dungeon.

    I agrree is mit seems higher than usual. He does a mass of damage while invulnerable and the add spawn rate seems over tuned. Then the area is confined by the spinning things hitting you, so kiting is hard. Then he hides behind the tent where he can hit you but you can't target him. (A bug.) Some of this would be ok for a challenge as it is meant to be a group encounter but he does seem to have more clout than needed. I am wondering if he was designed with the Arcanists cleave in mind and they forgot about the lower tier classes ;)
