I'm being selfish really I know it's purely a Tanking ability to debuff enemies with Breach... but i have a 1H&S DD for fun build i made and I'd SO love to have a Pierce Armor that hits a bit harder so it could feel more closely to a good spammable.

And if not Puncture, why not make Low Slash do more damage instead. Could always get Major Breach from somewhere else.

One of the shield ability should be a execute or a better damage, same goes with restoration implemented like vulnerability or magic damage as well.

Those skills used to do regular spammable damage and were meta in PvP. Major Breach, cheap weavable bashes - by which I mean light attack -> skill -> bash/interrupt in 1 second - combined with low block cost and high block mitigation on the same bar. It was too good. The nerf was a long time coming all the same, arguably because they could find no other solution. I, therefore, doubt they will revert.

Current 1H+S spammable is Power Bash. It's daft and not very good, but it counts as bash damage and synergises with certain sets and builds. Not meta, though.

No thank you. If they made any taunt skill reasonably useful as a DPS skill for a DD, many more naive DD's would inadvertently troll GF groups in dungeons and trials. It happens already at a noticeable frequency. Those skills should be as obvious as possible that it is not for damage dealers.

I'd really rather not encourage people who don't know what "taunt" means to find Puncture more attractive. It's already a problem with sword-and-board DPS stealing taunt because they don't know any better and just want to use what they think is a damage skill when it's not.
    Thank Stendarr it’s Fredas.

If said people could read, puncture does say it “taunts enemies to attack you” and it says it’s a tank skill. It’s just a hard lesson some people need to learn, that the tank should be the only one taunting unless stated otherwise.

For PvE, don't just add damage to puncture; rather, scale its damage based on health. That way it would continue to be of no interest to DD's, but make overland a bit less tedious for tanks who don't want to carry a bunch of different sets and frequently be reslotting skills for differing scenarios.

For PvP, either use battle spirit to control things or just balance PvE and PvP separately.

I mean, I guess that would still be a buff, even though it wouldn't benefit my specific build.

Yea not like the new Scribing you can have a taunt, dot, and debuff to the target to take more damage. I’m using that so. It’s fun to use smash taunt even if it’s not aoe taunt (I wish…… ) but the devs don’t like aoe taunt so……

Average adult US reading level is middle school. Kids and people below that (as it's an average) read at an elementary level, and as we stated some don't or cannot read the tooltip (or they just troll). SnB doesn't have DPS passives. There's Slash, Bash, and Charge skills that they can add damage to. There's no logical reason to make it Puncture
