Guarding another faction

why in the *** would you help another faction by killing the attacking faction of a keep, Its obvious that is what is going on when you leave every one from the faction that is getting attacked alone. Do you want PVP to be 2 factions only? I feel that is what most want when this happens all the time. At least if their is only 2 factions you can fight the other faction, wait in a que or kill pvp all together.

This is usually referred to as "back-capping" and is a valid tactic used since day one.

I disagree in this situation, they never attempted to take keep although they had enough to likely take it. This is not back capping (which i have done and don't have a problem with), this is blocking to help out the other faction because they are "friends" etc.

When they wait to come when the keep is lit and do nothing but help another faction it creates *** fights, If you are gonna come fight both factions or go fishing or something to help make pvp enjoyable.

I mean, let's say the attacking faction was trying to get Emp. The 3rd faction swooping in to wipe them out before that is a valid response.

And there are many reasons for not taking the keep themselves. Mostly, now they still don't need to spend resources defending it and can focus on other parts of the map. I've see plenty of times where a faction wiped a siege and then took the keep themselves and then the other two factions focused them all the way back to the gates. Keeping that other faction in the keep can be strategic.

This keep was not an EMP keep and the other faction was not active anywhere else on map, other than some solos and small mans.

I agree with let other factions do the work for you to come out on top but this is more of werte going to keep them from doing this and not gain anything from it.

In this situation was your faction outnumbering both of the other 2? in which case a temporary alliance to defend each others keeps is a viable strategy.

While there are hardcore scrubs who WILL use alts to help hem zerg harder there's no way to confirm if that is what occurred.
Thus context is needed. Possibly in video format.

Though sadly ZOS is so protective of aforementioned scrubs you have to be careful with such things. Lest you be banned for 'naming and shaming', or something similarly silly.

This is an extremely valid reason, and it happens in all types of three-faction WvW designs.

Thanks for doing the dirty work for us.

Beyond that, there are often three-way fights of sorts. Again, in WvW situations, the third faction will come in, sometimes to help the attackers trying to take the keep and sometimes to help the defenders. One thing that happens with well-organized guilds is that they know who is who. Sometimes, they will get help from a group, remember that, and return the favor.

Whether on the fly or pre-arranged, it is legit and game-legal. To bad, so sad but this is fair.
