See title. Trying to figure out how to do this without it redownloading the entire client. Very frustrating.

Any advice on anyone who has managed this?

I had my new PC arrive yesterday. I copied the entire map "Elderscrolls Online EU" contents on a external HD. Then i downloaded the client and installed. Pressed cancel and copied the contents to my new PC in the map "Elderscrolls Online EU".

And 16 mins later i could play.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Just copy past both the launcher folder and the game client folder into your new disk and thats it. No need to reinstall.

I bought a new SSD drive before launch and reinstalled windows on it, i just did copy/paste from old drive and it worked.

Copy the "Zenimax Online" folder from "Program Files" on the original computer, into the "Program Files" folder on the new computer.
In the "Launcher" Folder in "Zenimax Online" there is a "Bethesda.net" app, open that, it's you're new launcher.

Yup same deal, just copy and paste the game directory onto a USB drive, (you need about 30GB) then paste them again into whatever directory you want on your new PC. You will be required to fill out re-log info for signing in from a new IP address but it's all simple enough :)

Ok.. I am in the process of building a new gaming computer for my living room/HTPC and I will need to do this also. Been playing on a Toshiba Qosmio notebook, so I am ready to move to a big screen. Reading the replies I believe all that is needed is the complete "Zenimax Online" folder under Program File (x86) since most of us have installed the 64bit windows. But what about the data that is in "My Documents" called "Elders Scroll Online". Doesn't that hold your character data besides your Addons? Need to copy it too, right?

The only time this would be a problem is if your game was steam and you wanted to use steam.

IF your game is steam and you don't care about steam you would just copy paste the regular client and use your login credentials.

You can literally just copy paste someone who has a working client's game ( as mentioned above ).

I have done this probably 4 times among friends ( either copying my client or copying from theirs ). Either due to corrupt game files ect.

I will rectify some of the information stated above which is false :

    Steps:
Step 1: Make sure the files you are copying are the server you are planning on playing on Step 2: Copy the entire game folder this includes the launcher ect. Step 3: Paste said folders into a new folder you call ESO or ESOEU ect. Step 4: Launch the launcher and play.

Note you do NOT need to copy anything from my documents those folders will create themselves ( the only time this is relevant is if you had screenshots and/or addons you want to transfer )

The point is it's really easy to get this game from 1 pc to the next and takes about 20mins or less

What if your game is Steam, but you do care about it being a Steam game - do you have to download the whole game through Steam or can you put the game files in your Steam library and it would work?

Copy everything over to your new steam library. Try to download and install the game from Steam. Steam would detect existing files and download like 1 gb but delete the launcher made updates. Now replace them again with the old Game files.
