Extending bosmer pods with pod-like materials?

Is it possible to get any pod-like materials to make extensions to bosmer pods? I'm pretty happy with what I've done so far for The Gorinir Estate in Grahtwood (I'll share it here when it's done), but I really wanted to build a flat(ish) platform on top of the highest pod, and make it look like it was grown, like the rest of the pod. Is this even possible? Or don't we have the right furniture materials for it?

As far as I'm aware there aren't any organic structural pieces apart from the living bridge. I've built but not played around with one so I don't know if it has potential to serve as what you need.

On the other hand there are the Telvanni furnishings. I've not bothered making any of the new ones but the original table has a curvy edge which is amenable to linking multiple tables together into bigger ones.

Two side by side make something slightly like a yin-yang circle.

I also linked a bundle of them lengthwise into a grand scale dining table.

And there's the new Telvanni wardrobe.

    And the door.

You might also want to check out the backs of wooden shelves though that would put you firmly in rectangular land.

I found a way to do it, and I think it may even be lore-friendly! :) I crafted 2 'stump, rotten hollow', which are hollow tree stumps that are roughly semi-circular at their bottoms. By joining these 2 semi-circles together, into a circular shape and orienting them upside-down, I created a flat viewing platform with a hole in the middle, and as you can see from the screendump, it blends in nicely with the pod. :)

You can click on the image, and zoom in to see the details.

Using the bottom of a tree or stump is our best (and only option)

Bosmer are extremely lacking in furniture and have no structures at all. Didn't even see any structures in Gold Coast's pts, only a few furniture items that left a lot to be desired.

Which makes it a pain if you want to make a proper Green Pact friendly bosmer house.

structural furnishing plans usually get added in the q3 and q1 updates after chapters/zone dlcs so Dawnwood structures are sadly months away if they happen.
Like Apocrypha structures didn't get added until update 41. the Apocrypha style did get more in update 40 so perhaps similarly 44 will get more Dawnwood furnishings.

Yes, I noticed the lack of bosmer furnishings compared to those for other races, but I understand why, it's based on their lifestyle and culture. In any case: I'm happy I discovered the tree stump method, it looks really good I think.

There is usually more structures then, but the chapter still use to have some.

What do you mean by 'structure plans', exactly? In my thread recently about minimising slots used for large structures, one of you mentioned the Fargrave colonnade roof, isn't that considered a structural plan? I'm new to ESO house building, so perhaps I've misinterpreted something?

It is indeed a structural plan but it wasn't released with a chapter, iirc it was released with the Ascending Tides dungeon DLC...update 33 I think. 🙂

yea the Fargrave structural plans released with update 33, the update after the Deadlands dlc.

structural plans are just furnishing plans for structural furnishings like Walls, Platforms, the Fargrave colonnade roof, Pillars, and doors and such.

since 2020 structural plans have released in the updates after chapter or zone dlc/now things like the Archive updates.
Solitude furnishings in update 26 and then the structures in 27.
Markarth Dwarven furnishings in update 28 and structures in 29.

Last year update 38 added Necrom and a few Apocrypha furnishings.
And update 39 added Necrom structures.
update 40 added more Apocrypha furnishings and update 41 added Apocrypha structures.

so similarly update 43 will likely have Colovian structures as it's after update 42/Gold Road which has mostly Colovian furnishings, but also like 20 Dawnwood furnishings.
i am just guessing but it is likely that update 44 will add more Dawnwood furnishings and that update 45 adds Dawnwood structures.
