Rude Awakening quest achievement bugged?

Okay so, the zone quest achievement for Stormhaven. Rude Awakening. Maybe yall can help me out here where CS has failed.

I did the zone quests, albeit not in order. I started with the first part that's missing, which is actually the last part of the quest chain for some reason, because on another character, I did the first two parts, but I don't remember which one and I don't have any quests from that zone on any of my Daggerfall characters(I would have done it while leveling).

Since that didn't tick it over, I went back to the start of the zone and did all the rest of them. I followed the quest line into Rivenspire. No update. The quest map for UESP is useless, as I can't see what quests I've already done. I don't know if I need to do a side quest or a breadcrumb I somehow missed or what.

I've seen older reports that this acheivement is bugged, so I'm wondering if it still is, or if I'm screwed, because I really do not want to redo the thing *again*.

I put in a ticket and got the canned "redo what gives the achievement" and "do more damage to the boss" answers, and they haven't gotten back to my reply. No, I know they can't award achievements but they can tell me if it's bugged or if I missed something, thought they probably won't tell me what I did miss.

This isn't new for me, my EU chars did this achievement perfectly fine.

Ideas?

Have you checked the zone guide to see if anything is obviously missing/incomplete?

If nothing is obvious and you are on PC then Destinations Addon adds a load of checkable Quest related filters, maybe that might help you? 🙂

from the cut off section of your map, the "pariah abbey" location is still black colored, which means there is a quest missing from that POI to consider it complete, and it may not be a "main story quest" but still be related to the achievement

the only thing i can think of at this point, since the part of the achievement your missing is "restore order to the pariah abbey", which if your POI icon for that location is black, that means your still missing something

Yeah, perhaps... But what, exactly? That's why I'm confused. I can take another look but I typically avoid side quests as I don't really enjoy questing. I'm doing this for the dye.

yeah i understand that lol, im not sure exactly off hand what your missing, but it definitely looks like your missing some quest to "resolve" that POI story

each POI usually has its own mini-chain of quests, which im not sure if they would be represented in the zone guide, as many of these POI are usually considered optional to the main zone story

as an example just from what i can see on your map, there are at least 3 other POI which are still black as well, even though you have all of the major zone story completed according to the zone guide

Probably because I didn't do the side quests. If main quest doesn't send me there, I didn't do it there either.

Just odd. I get back on late tonight, I'll take another look.

i think that was the idea of the main quests, they would send you to or near most of the POIs, which would "lead you down the rabbit hole" of doing the mini-chain at each POI too

being the completionist that i am im pretty sure ive done every single possible non-repeatable quest at this point (at least with my main, i dont usually repeat quests often)

Over on EU in 2017 I did every last quest available in game to me(ww, no vamp) on my stamblade.

I kinda didn't enjoy it, and would rather not do it again, but I want the dang dye.

You may be missing the Injured Spirit Wardens quest. The quest giver, Falice Menoit, stands outside the northern entrance to Pariah's Abbey. It's a pretty short quest, maybe 5 minutes.
